Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I received my Master's from Lamar University and have been practicing for 4 years. I help clients develop motivation for change and increase their coping skill tool kit to manage anxiety, anger, and depression. I will use CBT, trauma focused care, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to help you reach your goals to help you feel the best version of you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider is being able to active listen and encourage and support ways for you to come up with solutions that best fit your needs, but also push you to change what you need to in order to feel the most whole again.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My expertise comes from working with adolescents. I can work with families, young adults, and children as well. My clients typically have self-injurious behavior, addiction to pornography, anxiety, anger management issues, and lack of motivation to change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT the majority of my work experience even before becoming a therapist. There is a great success when clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage anxiety or depression. CBT can help you recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behavior influence each other.

Motivational Interviewing

With Motivational Interviewing, I can help address the common problem of ambivalence about change.

Sex Therapy

I am a licensed ASOTP and work with clients to develop healthy sexual thoughts and sexual behaviors.
