New to Grow
Hi, I’m Tamara Robinson, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to openly process their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach is collaborative and supportive, helping clients build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, increase self-awareness, and work toward lasting emotional healing and personal growth.
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and the goals you hope to work toward. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and safe to share at your own pace while we begin building a plan for your growth and healing.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and authentic. I combine compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients gain insight, build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am best positioned to support individuals and couples who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply needing a safe place to process life’s challenges. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, self-esteem concerns, or major life transitions, I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow and heal.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients gently identify and challenge negative thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or self-doubt. In my practice, I provide a supportive and encouraging environment while helping clients build practical coping skills, develop healthier perspectives, and feel more confident in managing life’s challenges.
Couples Counseling
In couples counseling, I use a supportive and collaborative approach to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand each other’s needs and emotions. I help couples develop healthier conflict-resolution skills, strengthen emotional connection, and work together toward a more secure and fulfilling relationship.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to provide clients with a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where they can openly process emotions, stressors, and life challenges. Through encouragement, active listening, and emotional support, I help clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, and feel more empowered in navigating difficult situations.
