I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, and grief. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you will feel truly heard and supported, while also gently challenging you toward growth, healing, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. You're in charge and I am here to guide and support you on this journey.
With over 10 years of experience as an educator, school counselor, championship basketball coach, and Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring a unique and well-rounded approach to therapy. My background has allowed me to connect with individuals from all walks of life, especially adolescents and families navigating challenges both in and out of the classroom.
As a mother and a Christian, I understand the importance of compassion, structure, faith, and resilience in everyday life. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and relatable environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
My approach to therapy is intentional and results-driven. I am deeply committed to helping clients experience meaningful, lasting change. By the time clients complete services, they can expect to see growth in their mindset, emotional well-being, and overall life direction. I believe therapy should not only provide support—but also transformation.
Whether you are facing life transitions, emotional struggles, or behavioral challenges, I am here to walk alongside you with guidance, accountability, and care as you move toward becoming your best self.
My journey into mental healthcare is deeply personal and rooted in both lived experience and resilience. I was drawn to this field through many of the challenges I have faced and overcome throughout my own life. One of the most transformative moments in my journey occurred after I acquired a disability, an experience that completely shifted my perspective on healing, vulnerability, and emotional wellness.
My personal experiences allow me to approach therapy with authenticity, compassion, and a deeper level of connection. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, explore their emotions without judgment, and move toward healing at their own pace.
Those experiences ultimately shaped not only my career path, but also the type of therapist I strive to be, which is someone who leads with empathy, values genuine human connection, and understands that healing often begins when people feel supported, empowered, and no longer alone in what they are carrying.
Life can feel like standing at a crossroads with no clear signs. The pressure to have it all figured out — your career, your relationships, your sense of self — can quietly build into something heavier than you expected. If you're waking up exhausted, struggling to feel motivated, and carrying a low hum of worry that never quite goes away, you're not alone. And you don't have to keep pushing through it on your own.
I specialize in working with adults navigating the overlapping challenges of anxiety and depression — two experiences that often travel together, each making the other harder to manage. You might find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking and withdrawal, feeling both restless and empty at the same time. That tension is real, and it makes sense given everything you're carrying.
My approach combines talk therapy with practical, evidence-based tools designed to build lasting change. Together, we'll work to untangle the thought patterns keeping you stuck, develop coping skills you can actually use in daily life, and strengthen your emotional resilience and flexibility — so that when life gets hard, you have real resources to draw on. I create a space that is warm, judgment-free, and genuinely tailored to who you are, and what works for you.
You're at a stage of life that's full of real pressure and real possibility. Therapy isn't about having something "seriously wrong" with you — it's about getting the support you deserve to move through this period with more clarity, steadiness, and self-compassion.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who works with couples and adolescents during some of life’s most overwhelming moments. I specialize in teen crisis concerns, including self-harm, suicidal thoughts, behavioral difficulties, and psychosis, as well as relationship distress within couples and families. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling scared, exhausted, or unsure how to help themselves or their loved ones. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood and supported while we work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Hi, I'm Shelly — a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping people find their footing when life feels overwhelming. My journey in mental health began decades ago in music therapy, working in psychiatric settings where I first witnessed the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right support and a safe space. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — with attunement, creativity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal.
I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery, using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build real, lasting skills rather than just temporary relief. I have a particular heart for neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and autism — who may have spent years feeling misunderstood. You do fit — sometimes it just takes the right space to discover that.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Good therapy isn't just about insight — it's about leaving each session with something you can actually use. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right, and work hard to make sure our time together is meaningful.
For clients who desire it, I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into our work. I believe healing touches the whole person — mind, heart, and spirit — and that for many people, faith isn't separate from their healing but central to it. I hold that with care and without pressure.
Whether you're navigating a specific struggle or carrying a weight you've held for too long, you don't have to do it alone. Reaching out is the hardest step — and I'm really glad you're here.
I'd love the opportunity to connect.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and began my career in the field as a school counselor, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Over time, my work has grown to focus on helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, and patterns that may feel overwhelming or difficult to change.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, helping clients build practical skills while also gaining deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. Whether you are feeling stuck, seeking clarity, or wanting to make meaningful changes in your life, my goal is to walk alongside you at your pace and support you in building greater balance, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Through my journey in the field of counseling, I've come to understand that, no matter what you're carrying when you step into counseling, there's always one steadfast thing you can hold onto: hope.
My passion lies in standing with those who are hurting, mending, and who may feel a bit broken, and helping them discover meaning and hope within the unique tapestry of their circumstances.
Hello, I am a clinical psychologist who has been in practice sine 1999. I work with a general adult population, with my main focus being on PTSD, depression and anxiety. During the early stages of my career, I performed extensive psychological and neuropsychological testing. This helped me to understand the general workings of the brain and how important it is to utilize this knowledge in my therapy. I have found that helping my clients understand that mental illness is not "just in my head" or something I need to "get over' has been so very beneficial in people healing and taking control of their lives. I hope to have the opportunity to help you heal and make positive changes in your life.

As a perinatal psychotherapist, Mrs. Whiteside works with mothers and/or families who are struggling with perinatal mental illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.
My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.
My background covers a wide range of experience working with individuals and groups of all ages, diverse backgrounds and circumstances, and in various professional settings and roles. The professional settings I have experience in range from non-profits, child/family services, crisis intervention, child/youth shelters, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private counseling. I have worked in many roles as well, including case management, social worker, counselor, teacher, supervisor, director and administrator.
The most important thing to know about me is my belief that in all of my experience, the people involved who need help and support are much more capable of handling the issues in their life than they may feel like they are at the time they come to my office. I have worked with children, families, adolescents, and adults and this has always been true. Whatever circumstance or issue causes someone to seek help, my role is to assist that person in finding ways they can handle it and with better results for them and their life. I frequently remind clients that there is one thing that every low point in their life has in common: the low points change, they pass, and things are not always like that. Our job is to move that change in a direction that benefits you and will support you in a brighter future.
My name is Katy Thompson and I work to serve those that know they can do better, but don't seem to have the strength they need to pick themselves up out of the ditch. I'm a licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that this world is hard, but inside of us is something greater just waiting to be expressed and proved through a more fulfilling life.

In addition to my school counseling career, I am a crisis clinician in a major hospital in the DFW metroplex and work in over 32 emergency rooms providing on-call patient care. We all face unexpected challenges which sometimes leave us feeling hopeless and powerless. I believe that we have the ability to make healthy and appropriate choices regardless of the circumstances in which we may find ourselves. My role as a therapist is to assist and support clients as they learn new ways of coping and adjusting to life’s challenges. Counseling will vary depending upon one’s personality, stage of life, strengths or particular concern. Getting started can feel overwhelming. You have no idea where to even begin. You’ve been putting off therapy because you’re afraid it won’t help. More than anything you’d like to be able to feel happy again. You’d like to be able to put yourself out there more and to create deeper, more meaningful relationships with others. You want to have the courage to be your authentic self without hiding behind a mask.
I am a man of God, family man and someone who is always here to help. I served 10 years active-duty Army and when leaving the service, I pursued a college education earning my degrees to help individuals who want help. I will help anyone regardless of ability to pay as long as it is ethical and said individual wants help. Life can be a struggle and we all need help sometimes, I have been called unhinged and I do use humor when appropriate as asking for help can be uncomfortable and I will do anything possible to help ease these feelings/thoughts. The power of Jesus and his word is unimaginable so expect this along with evidenced based practices.
I work with mothers and caregivers — including teachers and professionals who support children — who may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure of who they are while caring for others. Together, we explore identity changes, emotional stress, and the pressures of caregiving, creating space for clarity, healing, and a stronger connection to self.
