I support adults who are looking to build on their strengths, develop new resources, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and person-centered, which means we work together to identify what matters most to you and create a plan that aligns with your goals and values.
Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming, especially when emotions become difficult to manage or relationships feel strained. In therapy, I provide a supportive space where you can better understand your experiences, strengthen your sense of self, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting with others. I believe that each client is the expert on their own life, and my role is to help guide, support, and empower you throughout the process. I am continually learning and expanding my clinical skills so I can bring effective, evidence-based approaches into our work together. My therapeutic style incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and EMDR to help clients build practical skills, gain insight, and move toward positive change. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy teaching dance, working out, and baking treats to share with friends and family. These activities help me stay connected, balanced, and energized, and I bring that same enthusiasm and commitment into my work with clients.
I am an optimist that has worked in the mental health and substance use space since 2007 as both a clinician and music therapist. Most battles are won and lost before they are ever fought because our thoughts drive our feelings and affect our behaviors. The challenge becomes mastering our thought process. Figuring out "who" we are is more useful than "why" we are so important in our journey to overcoming challenges, being resilient and becoming who we want to be. I thoroughly enjoy exploring and cultivating holistic coping strategies and firmly believe everything is better with music and chocolate.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Georgia, New Jersey, New York and Texas, providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. As a therapist of Caribbean descent, I bring a culturally responsive lens to my work and understand the importance of identity, family, and community in the healing process.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I also support clients from diverse and underserved communities, including those managing cultural expectations, generational experiences, and systemic stressors. My goal is to create a space where your full story is respected and valued.
In addition to therapy, I provide immigration evaluations and approach this work with care, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. I understand how important it is to feel safe when sharing your experiences, and I strive to ensure that process feels supportive and empowering.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. Together, we will explore patterns, build coping strategies, and develop tools that you can apply in your everyday life. I focus on helping you gain clarity, improve emotional balance, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, or simply ready to prioritize your mental health, you do not have to do it alone. I am here to support you in building the insight, confidence, and skills needed to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Hi! My name is Vyvian Nguyen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Mexico and Texas. My work is grounded in trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care, shaped by years of supporting people across the lifespan as they navigate what life has been brewing.
Serving in the U.S. Navy as a Master‑at‑Arms has helped me understand service members, veterans, and their families whether it’s the tension that builds from deployments, the stress of switching between civilian and military life, or the pressure to keep everything together. It also taught me the importance of having a space where you don’t have to be “on” all the time.
As a Vietnamese American with parents who came to the U.S. as refugees after the Vietnam War part of the generation often referred to as “boat people” I grew up with a close view of cultural transitions, intergenerational patterns, and the strength it takes to rebuild in a new place. That perspective helps me support families who are newly arriving or adjusting to a new country with understanding and respect.
Tea Time Therapy grew from the idea that growth doesn’t need to be rushed. Like a good cup of tea, it often needs warmth, time, and a space that feels steady enough to settle into. My style is warm, straightforward, and lightly humorous enough to ease tension without taking away from the work.
You don’t need perfect words or a polished story. You just need a grounded space to slow down, breathe, and explore what’s been weighing on you at your own pace. We’ll take it one sip at a time.

Therapy, to me, is about real human connection, about creating a space where you can show up fully, without judgment or pressure to be anything other than who you are right now. I see therapy as a collaborative process of curiosity, growth, and healing, where we work together to understand the patterns that shape your life and uncover what’s possible beyond them.
My goal is to make every session a space where you feel deeply seen, understood, and supported. Whether you’re navigating personal transitions, relationships, trauma, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to help you explore your experiences in ways that feel authentic, compassionate, and empowering. Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :)
I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations.
Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas and Louisiana. I earned my Master’s degree in General Counseling & Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. My interest in mental health began in high school when I took a psychology course, and it grew as I worked at a mental health agency, where I realized my passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges.
I work with adults on a variety of concerns, including anxiety, anger management, family challenges, ADD/ADHD, ODD, career guidance, and academic difficulties. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and safe space where you can openly share your experiences and work toward meaningful goals. Together, we’ll explore strategies to manage symptoms, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being.
I’m Waverly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Supervisor, though most of my family and friends call me “Waves.” The nickname has always felt fitting because I believe life moves in waves. Sometimes it is calm and steady, and other times it can feel overwhelming and difficult to navigate. My role as a therapist is to help you find steadiness even when the waters feel rough. I bring warmth, patience, and evidence-based practices into each session with the goal of supporting you as you build resilience and work toward emotional well-being.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers individuals, adults, geriatric populations in a general private practice setting in Texas & California. My practice offers a place where you can feel heard in a supportive, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment. I focus on adult care including women’s issues, career/educational issues, interpersonal communication, self-esteem, anger management, stress management, relationship issues, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. I like to do therapy in an “eclectic” manner, drawing on cognitive-behavioral, narrative, spirituality, solution-focused, and others.
I believe talk therapy is a power tool. It can heal. It can empower. It can bring about the kind of changes you seek. In order for talk therapy to really work, you must feel connected to and trust the therapist you work with so I encourage you to find the right fit. We will start where you are and, together, we will explore new ways of making your life more manageable. To struggle is to be part of the human experience. Struggle can be a motivator for change. Those self-defeating thoughts are not who you are. These life circumstances do not have to define your whole life.
