Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I've been practicing for 12 years helping young adults, and adults of all ages navigate life's transitions, boundaries, stress, abandonment, anxiety, relationship issues and all the "stuff" that keeps us from becoming the best versions of ourselves. You have what it takes to live the life you want, I can help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and some questions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. We'll talk about what you want to get from counseling and how to measure progress.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked as a mental health therapist for the past 12 years, I have vast experience in helping to identify the root cause of your challenges, assisting with a plan to build resilience, and helping you achieving your goals that lead to a healthier, happier life.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps people learn how to make healthy contact with thoughts, feelings, memories, and physical sensations that have been feared and avoided. I use this method to help with anxiety and fight or flight responses.

Narrative

The stories we tell ourselves influence our lives and how we connect or disconnect to others. I use narrative therapy to assist people in becoming aware of their stories, accepting them, and writing new stories.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Each person is an individual who deserves dignity, respect, privacy, and choice as they set and work toward their personal goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I used CBT to help identify and change thinking patterns. This often assists with a reduction in overwhelming sensations and helps people "get out of their own way" when trying to achieve their goals.
