Greetings! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida and the owner/CEO of Breaking BHAD Counseling, LLC. I am a US Army veteran and graduate of Webster University with a Master of Arts in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health Track). I have been practicing in various mental health settings for six years, working with diverse adult populations from a wide demographic range. I am seriously passionate about helping people overcome challenges like addiction, anxiety, depression, adjustment to life after incarceration or going through pre-trial release/probation, and relationship issues.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland. I am Trauma Certified, National Certified Counselor and board-certified member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. I earned my master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I believe the client is the expert in their situation and work with the client to assist them in reaching their maximal potential. I also realize how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems, work or school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process. My therapeutic approach is diverse, eclectic, and curtailed to the individual not a “one size fits all”.

My interest in mental health started at home, with my immediate family. From my own experiences, I became passionate about the overall mental wellbeing of everyone around me. With this, I pursued mental and behavioral health education and training in Baltimore, and have worked in the field for over eight years. I use personal and professional experience to help others reach their highest potential.
