Hi! I am a heterosexual cisgender woman, and my husband and I have a 15 year old son. I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri but I have lived in Florida for 34 years and it's my home. I hate snow. I think of myself as a girl-next-door therapist. New clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to. I like to use humor whenever possible. My approach is gentle and humble. I'll never go beyond your comfort level of discussion. My office is where you can spew your thoughts, cry, talk about yourself and even the thoughts you have that would be offensive to others. Our life path is full of ups and downs with unexpected twists and turns. However, the majority of the time, we fall back on what we are accustomed to when dealing with a stressful situation or unexpected change; such as becoming confused, frustrated, emotional, withdrawing, angry, combative, or ignoring the situation and hoping the situation will just magically disappear or be resolved.
