Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, and I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of experience, I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. My approach is collaborative and personalized because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. I draw from evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients build practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create lasting change. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with past trauma, navigating life transitions, or looking for support for your child or teen, my goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools needed to move forward. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, develop meaningful goals, and work toward improving your overall well-being. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. I look forward to helping you take the next step toward healing and growth. I have extensive experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, helping families navigate behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to achieve. I’ll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and any previous counseling experiences to better understand your unique story. This is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation—not an interrogation. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no expectation to tell me everything during our first meeting. Together, we’ll identify your goals and create a treatment plan that fits your needs. I’ll answer any questions you have about the therapy process and explain the approaches we may use, such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR, depending on your goals and readiness. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you move toward the life you want

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. With 18 years of clinical experience, I bring both compassion and evidence-based expertise to my work. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, drawing from CBT, DBT, and EMDR to help clients develop practical skills, process difficult experiences, and achieve lasting growth. I also bring a deep sense of empathy shaped by both my professional experience and my own experiences with grief and loss. While every person’s journey is different, these experiences have strengthened my understanding of resilience, healing, and the importance of feeling truly heard and supported during life’s most difficult moments. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build the confidence and tools they need to move forward with hope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they’re unsure where to begin. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral challenges, grief, or life transitions and are looking for a supportive, collaborative therapist to help them move forward. I work best with clients who are open to learning new skills, exploring patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and actively participating in the therapeutic process. Whether you’re seeking tools to better manage emotions, heal from past experiences, improve relationships, or help your child thrive, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. I believe lasting change happens when clients feel understood, empowered, and supported, and I’m committed to helping each person build on their strengths to create a healthier, more fulfilling life

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we’ll identify unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or other challenges. Together, we’ll learn practical strategies to reframe those thoughts and develop healthier behaviors that support your goals.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) focuses on building skills to better manage emotions, reduce stress, improve relationships, and tolerate difficult situations. You’ll learn tools for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication that can be used in everyday life.

EMDR

For clients who have experienced trauma or distressing life events, I may incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR helps the brain process painful memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming. We will only begin EMDR after establishing trust, building coping skills, and ensuring you feel prepared for the process.
