I’m Micheal Franklin, and my journey into therapy began in a blue-collar family where my relatives worked in textile mills, battery plants, and furniture factories. I graduated from Western Piedmont Community College in Drug and Alcohol Technology and earned an Associate in Arts in 1996. When I was a teen, one of the things I wished for was someone to talk to- someone who wouldn’t judge me, who would be a sounding board and would help me make decisions that would impact my future.
