New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported, while also being challenged to grow in meaningful ways. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I strive to create an environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment.
Starting therapy can be intimidating, especially if it's your first time. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from working together. There is no pressure to share everything at once as we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Clients often appreciate that I can balance empathy with practical guidance. I listen and ask questions to help you recognize patterns, develop new perspectives, and build skills you can apply to everyday life. I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than a one size fits all, and use everyday examples to help clarify concepts.
My ideal clients are teens, adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many feel overwhelmed by overthinking, struggle to set healthy boundaries, or find themselves stuck in patterns that no longer serve them – all while attempting to balance their own mental health with demanding careers, or family responsibilities. My clients often look for emotional support and tools they can use in their lives to build heathier reationships, manage stress, and feel confident moving forward.
I use an integrative, evidence-based approach (CBT, ACT, etc) to help you understand your thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and make practical changes that fit your life. I often use real life examples and analogies to help things “make sense” in ways that feel clear and relatable.
