I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe that lasting change begins with understanding ourselves more deeply. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, develop healthier ways of coping, and build a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentic.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your current concerns, personal history, and goals while giving you the space to share at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying the patterns that may be contributing to your current challenges and develop a plan that fits your unique needs and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach combines evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with deeper insight-oriented work to help clients understand both their symptoms and the patterns that shape their lives. Rather than focusing only on short-term relief, I help clients explore how past experiences, emotions, relationships, and personal strengths influence the present. Together, we develop practical strategies that promote lasting emotional growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, or difficulties expressing and managing their emotions. I specialize in helping clients who feel overwhelmed, shut down, or struggle to communicate their needs, especially in family or relational contexts. My approach is especially helpful for those open to combining practical coping skills with deeper emotional exploration to create meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and practice practical skills that clients can apply in everyday life. I adapt CBT to each individual's developmental level, goals, and personal strengths while integrating it with deeper insight when appropriate.

Jungian

I integrate Jungian concepts to help clients explore recurring emotional patterns, personal meaning, and the ways past experiences continue to influence their present lives. When appropriate, we may examine themes, dreams, symbols, or different parts of the self to foster greater self-awareness and personal growth. These interventions are always integrated with evidence-based treatment to support meaningful and lasting change.

Psychoanalytic

I incorporate psychodynamic and psychoanalytic principles to help clients understand how early experiences, attachment patterns, and unconscious processes influence their current emotions, relationships, and behaviors. Increasing this awareness often helps clients make more intentional choices and create lasting change.
