New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and emotional challenges. I help clients better understand themselves, express their emotions, and build healthier ways of coping and relating to others. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where meaningful and lasting change can take place, helping clients feel more confident, balanced, and connected in their daily lives.
In our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and discuss how I can best support you moving forward.
My approach combines evidence-based techniques like CBT with deeper, insight-oriented work to address both symptoms and underlying emotional patterns. I have strong experience working with children through play and creative interventions, as well as helping clients explore trauma, emotional expression, and relational dynamics. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow.
I work best with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, or difficulties expressing and managing their emotions. I specialize in helping clients who feel overwhelmed, shut down, or struggle to communicate their needs, especially in family or relational contexts. My approach is especially helpful for those open to combining practical coping skills with deeper emotional exploration to create meaningful, lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In sessions, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping, using practical tools tailored to each individual’s needs, including adaptations for children through play and creative interventions.
Jungian
I incorporate Jungian approaches to help clients explore unconscious patterns and the meaning behind their experiences, using symbolism and creative expression to support insight and personal growth.
Psychoanalytic
I use psychoanalytic approaches to help clients explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence their current emotions and relationships, supporting deeper insight and lasting change.
