New to Grow
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I've spent my career supporting children, parents, and families through some of life's most challenging moments. My background includes working in the NICU, early childhood mental health, and supporting families navigating trauma, medical complexity, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with women during pregnancy and postpartum, parents, caregivers, and individuals who have spent so much time caring for others that they've forgotten how to care for themselves.
The first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your current concerns, your goals for treatment, and any important experiences that have shaped where you are today. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so there is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you feel safe telling your story at your own pace. By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how I work, what our therapeutic relationship may look like, and some initial ideas about where we'd like to focus our work together. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful that change is possible.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop tools to navigate life's challenges. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed practices. I tailor therapy to your unique needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify practical strategies for change, and work toward goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting stress, trauma, or a major life transition, we'll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
My ideal clients are women, parents, caregivers, and individuals navigating life transitions who are ready to prioritize their mental health, even if they're not quite sure where to start. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves after spending so much time caring for others. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals during pregnancy and postpartum, parents raising children with unique needs, caregivers experiencing burnout, and those working through trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or significant life changes. I also enjoy working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who are seeking a therapist who values authenticity, cultural humility, and a strengths-based approach. Whether you're adjusting to a new season of life, healing from difficult experiences, or simply trying to find your way back to yourself, therapy can provide a space to feel supported, understood, and empowered.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship challenges and develop practical tools to create lasting change. CBT is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that focuses on building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and helping you feel more confident managing life's challenges.
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma-informed therapy recognizes the impact past experiences can have on your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of safety. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and supporting healing without judgment.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy helps identify your strengths and build on what's already working. Rather than focusing only on problems, we'll work together to develop practical solutions and achievable goals that support meaningful change.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach that helps you explore ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and make changes that align with your values and goals. Rather than being told what to do, you'll be supported in finding your own reasons for change.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
Culturally Sensitive Therapy recognizes that your background, identity, values, family experiences, and lived experiences all play an important role in your mental health and well-being. I strive to create a respectful, inclusive space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and understood. Together, we'll explore your experiences within the context of your culture and work toward goals that align with your values and unique life experiences.
