Hi, I’m Mercedes Harrison— and I help youth and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next chapter move from self-doubt to clarity and confident action.

HI. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Master's Degree from Adelphi University in New York and have been practicing as a therapist in Central Florida for 10 years. My passion is to help clients to overcome their mental health and/or personal barriers and promote feelings of empowerment and accomplishment. It is my goal to guide the client on their journey to overcoming their challenges and to achieve desired change.
I approach therapy with the belief that healing and growth are always possible. Change is a natural part of life, and I view counseling as a supportive space where individuals and couples can explore challenges, strengthen resilience, and move toward greater well-being. My work is grounded in compassion, empathy, and respect, creating a safe environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
I was born in Cuba and moved to the United States with my family at a young age. Growing up in Central Florida, I became deeply curious about people, relationships, and the ways we navigate life’s struggles. That early curiosity developed into a calling to support others through their own journeys of healing and growth. Today, I work with both individuals and couples, helping them process trauma, improve communication, manage anxiety, and cultivate stronger, healthier connections.
Fluent in English, Spanish, (and Spanglish), I enjoy providing therapy in whichever language feels most comfortable for my clients. My cultural background and bilingual skills allow me to offer a more inclusive and culturally sensitive counseling experience, something I believe is essential in building trust and fostering healing.
In my practice, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Gottman Method, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. I also bring a person-centered philosophy, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and collaboration as core elements of the therapeutic process.
Outside of my professional life, I value balance and joy. I enjoy barbell strength training, which reminds me of the importance of persistence and self-care. I also love singing with my husband and spending meaningful time with family and friends. These personal joys keep me grounded and inspire the work I do with clients every day.

Hi. I'm Gloria, LMHC in the FL State.
Are you going through depression, anxiety, long-lasting effects of trauma, adjustment to new cultures, or dealing with children and adolescents with behavioral problems? Are you part of a minority facing bigotry and adaptation to the main culture; or having relational problems preventing you from having the good life you deserve? In a few words, are you a human being who is struggling to be the best that you can be? If your answer is yes to one of these questions then, you are the client I want to serve.
Together we can find the tools you need to grow and enhance your strengths; yes your strengths, those that you have even if you can't recognize them. I’ll work within an array of therapeutic approaches, always in the here and now, to familiarize yourself with your mind and its work because I’m convinced that, “ Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom."
Depression, anxiety, losses, adjustments, trauma these all are inexhaustible sources of pain. We all, as humans, share them so, "Maybe that's the point of humanitarianism, it's in making the effort, it's in sending the message that you actually care." I care. Feel free to contact me.
I help people reconnect with who they are beneath stress, trauma, and life transitions. Therapy with me focuses on resolving the experiences and patterns that block joy, clarity, and self-trust so you can move forward on your own terms. My goal is to help you build balance across mind, body, and nervous system while developing practical skills that support long-term change.
I offer a unique experience of integrative, interactive, and holistic therapy style that blends modern psychology with mind–body approaches. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Adlerian principles, neuroscience, developmental psychology, Brainspotting, mindfulness, meditation, yoga philosophy, Ayurveda and wellness-based strategies. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual — combining practical tools, emotional healing, and insight so that therapy is both grounded and transformative.
With sensitivity, patience, we will work collaboratively to strengthen your resilience, process trauma and restore a sense of steadiness and joy.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I moved to Florida from Nashville but have roots in Mississippi and Virginia. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in April of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration. I used that degree to enroll at Capella University where I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in March of 2021. My passion for counseling started when I was very young. In my teenage years I participated in groups that worked to prevent teen suicide. This interest eventually worked its way into my adult life as a career in the mental health field.
My first position after graduating with my Masters was assisting individuals whose substance abuse lead to involvement in the criminal justice system. Building on that, I also have experience with Veterans' issues, grief and loss, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, relationships, depression, anxiety, social fears and many other mental health diagnoses.
I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all approach to an individual’s mental health. I use a wide range of techniques to best help my clients to achieve the goals they set forth during their time in treatment by developing strategies and coping skills to achieve optimal mental health.
I help people rise above the pain and find healing. I tend to work with anxious people who are worried about their relationships. (I do NOT accept insurance for couples therapy.)
I am a mental health counselor who specializes in couples and teens. I use my Gottman Method training (an internally known, research-based therapy) to help couples restore their relationships. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and my background in secondary education to help my teens thrive in adolescence.

I support kids, teens, and emerging adults in managing stress, navigating school or life transitions, and building the skills to feel calmer, more confident, and more capable.
Along with supporting kids and emerging adults individually, I work closely with parents and caregivers to create practical, individualized strategies so individuals can thrive at home, school, and beyond.
Sessions are collaborative, skill-focused, and designed to build long-term resilience.

I believe that while goals are important for us to move forward in life, goals in therapy are individualized based on what is currently causing disruption in your life, and we will work together to build a treatment plan that is effective for you.
Hey! I am Renata. If you are here, you are probably contemplating change. My favorite quote is "tradition is the enemy of progress."
