LCSW, 24 years of experience
Hello, I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience providing compassionate, insightful, and creative counseling. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families—supporting them through life’s challenges and helping them create pathways toward healing and growth. My approach is warm, positive, and collaborative. I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, substance use, and relationship issues, offering both guidance and practical tools for meaningful change.
In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction and then explore the challenges that brought you to therapy. This conversation will help me understand your goals and begin developing a personalized plan that fits your unique needs. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, supported, heard, and empowered from the very start.
I bring compassion, creativity, and deep clinical experience to every session. My work is rooted in a strengths-based approach, helping clients discover their resilience and inner resources. I draw on my extensive background working with children, teens, families, and individuals in recovery. I also incorporate mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and the expressive arts into the healing process when appropriate—believing strongly in the mind-body connection as a path to well-being.
My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are ready to engage in meaningful self-reflection and are open to exploring new tools for change. Whether they are navigating anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges, they are motivated to grow and heal.

I don't have much to say off of just the first session but overall Dana was patient, a great listener, and was very nice to talk back and forth with. I look forward to working with her further!

Solution oriented, warm and a good challenge to be and live well. Activities to calm down and reframe.
CBT has helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
