LMHC, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello there! I am Carole Gigliotti, a License Professional Counselor hailing from Pittsburgh, PA and now residing in Florida. I believe in kindness, empathy and humor as the most important elements of building a therapeutic relationship. I have 15 years working as a therapist- working with various age ranges and in multiple settings. I would love to help you reach your goals, improve your relationships and be present in the moment.
In our first session, we will be getting to know one another. I will be asking you about your goals, and how we can work together to achieve them.
My greatest strength as a provider is that I am a real person. My cornerstone for care is empathy and understanding. I am flexible and versatile in approach and problem solving. My singular goal is to facilitate growth and positive change.
I have worked under a specialty of neuropsychology for 10 years - which include neurodivergence and medical complications. I enjoy helping individuals understand how their experiences and genetic make-up have contributed to the way they perceive events.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a goal driven form of therapeutic intervention. It focuses on increasing motivation for and commitment to goals and change. Motivational Interviewing has a cornerstone of empathy - used to increase self-efficacy, and the ability to roll with resistance.
Strength-based therapy is a client-centered therapeutic approach to treatment, that that focuses on identifying an individual's strengths, and then utilizing those strengths to increase positive outcomes. It is based heavily on positive psychology and aims to improve a person's mindset and approach to problem solving.
