After the counselor gives the client some unique coping skills, the counselor asks the client if these skills might work for them. Greetings, I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Master from Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico and I have been practicing for 6 years. I help people between the ages 18 and 90 year old struggling with daily life stressors and difficulties to better manage mental health issues. I work with them in a process of guidance and accompaniment to become their best version of themselves.

My Social Work career was initiated by my passion to support those within vulnerable populations, specifically within the child welfare system. I began my career as a Social Worker working within the Child Welfare system in New York City. In 2003, I relocated to Charlotte, NC and continued my work within Child Welfare as a Child Protective Services Social Worker. In 2008, I obtained my clinical licensure which initiated my move from providing direct clinical services to children, young adults and families.
