Do you struggle with anxiety? Do you often feel irritated and overwhelmed by daily life? Do you feel weighed down but don't know why? Are you longing to feel whole and happy again? I help clients manage stressful and traumatic events by empowering them with the tools they need to overcome. I use evidenced based techniques to explore issues and create a plan to move from a place of just surviving to really living and thriving.
In our first session I take the time to gather information from my clients to make sure I really understand the problem from their point of view. We discuss what's important to you as the client, and how we will work towards the goal you want to achieve.
I utilize various evidenced based techniques such as CBT, trauma focused therapy, strengths based therapy, solution focused, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, narrative, compassion focused, coaching, and attachment based therapy.
I have a warm approach to therapy. I create a safe space for clients to explore difficult emotions. I provide supportive guidance and help my clients to recognize their strengths in the experiences they have lived. I admire the courage it takes to seek help and I try to honor that courage by holding a space for clients where they can find healing.
I enjoy working with clients who want to create a shift in their lives, who are ready to move out of a place of feeling stuck, overstimulated, and overwhelmed. I like helping my clients work through the blocks and gain more clarity on how to move forward into a space where they can experience more freedom.
