Hello, and welcome! As a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals on their unique paths toward healing and personal growth here in the beautiful State of Florida. Through my counseling journey, I’ve discovered that real, lasting change begins with self-compassion. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to express yourself and explore the challenges you’re facing. Whether you’re navigating feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression, we’ll work together to uncover the root causes and develop personalized strategies to overcome them. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing on mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques tailored to your individual needs. It takes courage to seek support and take the first steps toward a more joyful and fulfilling life, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll work to help you build a life of purpose, resilience, and happiness. Let’s begin this transformative journey—you don’t have to do it alone!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

When I first meet with a client, my goal is to understand their unique challenges. This often begins with a brief history and the administration of screeners for conditions such as depression and anxiety to establish a baseline. This allows us to track progress over time. Together, we will create a treatment plan that addresses the root causes of your concerns and develop a personalized strategy to help you overcome them. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques—each tailored to your specific needs. I work best with clients who are motivated to change because I am a change agent, and I am here to guide and support you through your transformative journey. You don't have to face this alone—we'll take the steps together!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize this type of therapy because it is highly effective and evidenced-based. CBT focuses upon challenging and changing cognitive distortions such as thoughts, beliefs and attitudes and their associated behaviors to improve emotional regulation and to develop personal coping strategies that target solving current problems such as depression or anxiety. CBT is also effective for substance use disorders, marital problems, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and eating disorders.

Compassion Focused

I utilize mindful self-compassion because it is a proven way to learn to accept yourself, build inner strength, and to thrive. I teach clients to embrace themselves and their imperfections which provides the resilience needed in order to flourish.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize this type of therapy because it is highly effective and evidenced-based. DBT assists clients in learning to live in the moment; coping healthily with stress; regulating emotions; and improving relationships with others.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I teach clients mindfulness in order to help them reduce stress, improve mental health, and find peace in everyday life. I teach clients to be fully present, see things clearly, let go of judgements, build inner resilience, and learn to move through difficult situations with balance and stability.

Grief Therapy

I assist patients with accepting the loss. Processing the pain of grief. Adjusting to a world without the deceased. Lastly, finding a way to remember the deceased while moving forward in life.
