Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida International University and have been practicing for 8 years. I help adults struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, self-esteem issues, conflict resolution, and development of healthy coping strategies. As a social worker, I take a whole-person approach. I don’t just focus on your symptoms or challenges. I also look at how your environment—like relationships, work, or community affects your well-being. Together, we’ll find ways to improve your overall quality of life.
In our first session, my main goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable and supported. It’s natural to feel a little nervous, but this is a judgment-free zone where you can speak about what’s on your mind. I’ll explain how I work and what you can expect from our sessions. For example, I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Motivational Interviewing, depending on your needs. We’ll also talk about how therapy is a collaborative process, where we’ll work together to create a plan that feels right for you.
I have a natural ability to connect with people by making you feel heard, understood, and valued. This empathetic approach helps build strong therapeutic relationships and creates a safe space for you to share your stories. I also focus on empowering you by highlighting your existing strengths and abilities. I believe this helps build confidence and resilience, fostering a sense of self-efficacy as we work toward the achievement of your goals.
I love to work with adults who despite the challenges they may be experiencing, they are ready to do the work it requires to be the best version of themselves.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is about understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. Together, we’ll explore how unhelpful thinking patterns might be influencing how you feel and act. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts, we can create healthier ways of thinking and responding to difficult situations.
Motivational Interviewing
My style is one that offers empathy, support, respect, and empowerment. I aim to honor your autonomy, while keeping you in alignment with your values and goals.

Wendy made me feel like I can let go and talk about anything. She made me feel like I had a real sister. I felt safe, she made me laugh and smile amidst of getting to know me and talking about my depression and trauma. I honestly feel that there should be more people like Wendy out here. She's understanding, and have a very relative conversation that makes you want to open up even more. I feel much better today.
