Hi, I'm Saray Maldonado, LCSW Helping individuals and families heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over six years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s toughest challenges. I currently work in a residential treatment facility, where I assist clients in both substance use recovery and mental health stabilization, empowering them with tools for lasting wellness. My approach is trauma-informed, and I work closely with clients to address the root causes of their struggles, not just the symptoms. My experience spans a variety of settings—including schools, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient programs, and residential treatment facilities—giving me the flexibility to support a wide range of needs. Whether it’s working with children, teens, or adults facing crises, I’ve helped people stabilize in the moment while laying the groundwork for long-term healing and growth. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and substance use, and I’m passionate about helping individuals ready to make lasting, positive changes. My approach combines empathy and structure, using evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster emotional resilience, improve communication, and strengthen relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other, and I’ll learn more about the challenges you're currently facing. Together, we’ll start exploring the areas you’d like to focus on, and I’ll create a plan that’s personalized to your unique needs. This will guide our work together in the following sessions, let's take the first step.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my genuine compassion and passion for personal growth. I understand the importance of resilience and change, and I use the knowledge I've gained to support others on their journey. I’ve had the privilege of helping many people during tough times, and I’m committed to guiding them toward lasting change and peace.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, or emotional overwhelm and are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. I work well with teens and adults who are open to exploring their patterns, building healthier coping skills, and working collaboratively toward stability and growth.
