Are you striving to find satisfaction with your work, life or relationships? Do you want to focus on fixing immediate problems rather than unraveling past hurts? Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. I see my role as a co-author, helping you develop an alternate personal history so that you may move forward with courage and confidence.

My journey as a therapist was inspired by my own struggles. Addiction and mental health upended my life at an early age, but I came out on the other side with a fierce appreciation for life and an understanding that recovery can be fun. Now as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, my passion is driven by guiding my patients through their own mental health roadblocks to an easier life. My clients often tell me they feel calmer, more confident, and able to handle daily stress. I use evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to target anxiety, mood disturbance, and stress-related symptoms. Sessions emphasize insight, skill acquisition, and measurable progress toward each client’s goals. My work focuses on fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and sustained improvement in overall functioning.

My goal in my counseling is to help my clients live deeply fulfilling lives. I help clients increase their psychological flexibility through various tools and approaches including evidence-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to change their thought patterns. I use experiential approaches including Hypnotherapy to work with subconscious minds and remove blocks that are deep in their psyche. I also provide mindfulness training, which is one of the key techniques for the clients to be more present and accepting in their lives, rather than react reflexively. Each individual's struggles are complex and tied to many factors including their social environment, their physical health, the phases of their lives, skills they already possess, etc. In other words, change can happen in a variety of ways and that's what counseling can help with, pointing out the direction and even the next steps that can help the client to get to their goals and intentions. I work with clients experiencing sleep disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, mood issues, ADHD, career counseling, and those who simply need a tune-up.

I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for 20 years, and I continue to find meaning in helping people better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences, and create positive change in their lives. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if this is your first experience with counseling. My goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, supportive conversation where you can be yourself, speak openly, and know that you will be heard without judgment. I approach each client with empathy, compassion, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship begins by creating an environment where you feel comfortable discussing what is happening in your life at your own pace. Together, we can identify what is causing distress, understand the patterns that may be contributing to it, and develop practical tools for moving forward. Over the past two decades, I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological and psychiatric concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger and emotional regulation difficulties, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. I am comfortable working with both everyday life challenges and more complex mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is individualized and collaborative because no single method works for everyone. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Existential Therapy, and Reminiscence Therapy based on each client’s needs and goals. Therapy should provide more than a place to talk. My role is to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, recognize your strengths, and build practical skills that can be used outside of our sessions. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or seeking greater stability and fulfillment, we will work together toward lasting progress.

Hi! I'm Cristina Marra, LMFT. I have 15+ years of experience. I like to help adults and adolescents deal with life's challenges. I help mostly with depression and/or anxiety. My therapeutic approach depends upon the presenting problem and client. The approaches I rely on the most are client-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR, as needed. I enjoy helping people by listening in a way that the client feels heard and understood. This then allows for better work to happen as strategies and coping tools are developed. I enjoy working with many different types of issues as we are all complex. My communication style I believe in, an open, caring, honest, and direct style of communication. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. Hello, I’m Dr. Cleveland, and I bring over 14 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my master's degree in clinical psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and my doctorate degree in Applied Clinical Psychology. Throughout my career, I have served many roles, including Clinical Director and Primary Therapist at various mental health and substance treatment centers. I have been deeply involved in developing and growing treatment programs that are effective and compassionate. I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those who are court-mandated, and I am well-versed in addressing the unique challenges they face. In addition to my clinical practice, I have worked as a professor, where I stay at the forefront of research and innovative practices in mental health treatment. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Whether you are dealing with specific challenges or seeking personal growth and balance, I am here to support you on your journey."

I'm a queer, feminist therapist who creates a warm, affirming space for clients navigating body image concerns and eating disorders. My approach is rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) and LGBTQ+ affirming care, with a deep belief that therapy should feel both supportive and empowering. I’m here to help you not just get through the hard weeks, but to feel seen, heard, and equipped with tools to move through life with more ease. I know how vulnerable it can be to seek help—especially around food and body image—and I strive to offer a space where you can be your full self without judgment. In addition to talk therapy, I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps process and heal from trauma, distressing memories, and deeply rooted beliefs that may be holding you back.

Hi there, I am Joanna Have you ever gone to therapy and found it hard to open up because the sessions appear rigid and impersonal, and maybe you felt judged? In my practice is my goal to lead sessions in a non-judgmental way, with the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I like to describe my relationship with clients as a relationship among equals. My role in the session is to help you process some of the challenges you are experiencing and offer skills that can help create the change you want to see in your life. My theoretical orientation is dialectical behavioral therapy and I try to hold the balance between acceptance and change, this means accepting that although things might be difficult at this moment we can learn new behaviors so life can be improved. My goal is to help clients increase their overall satisfaction in life and relationships. I am also trained in trauma work to help clients process traumatic experiences.
