Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first meeting, we'll map out your therapeutic aspirations. Our work centers on a solution-oriented process where we identify what's blocking your path and practice the skills needed to move forward. My aim is to provide a concrete takeaway after each visit that advances your well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a clinician include building strong therapeutic rapport, creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment, and tailoring evidence-based interventions to each client’s unique needs. I integrate structured approaches like CBT and Motivational Interviewing with attachment-informed and mindfulness-based strategies to support both symptom reduction and deeper relational insight. What stands out in my work is my balance of warmth and directness—I help clients feel understood while also gently challenging unhelpful patterns. I focus on measurable progress, skill development, and fostering long-term resilience so clients leave therapy feeling more confident, self-aware, and empowered.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and are open to learning practical tools for change. I work well with those experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or stress related to work or family roles. I am especially well-suited for clients who value a collaborative approach and want both emotional support and structured strategies. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking personal growth, I help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, goal-oriented approach to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and engage in behavioral changes that reduce symptoms. I also incorporate psychoeducation and between-session skill practice to support lasting improvement in daily functioning.

Attachment-based

Attachment-Based therapy focuses on how early relationships and attachment experiences influence current emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and sense of self. In my practice, I help clients explore how attachment styles (e.g., secure, anxious, avoidant) impact their thoughts, behaviors, and interpersonal functioning. I use this approach to strengthen emotional awareness, improve relational patterns, and build secure attachment through a safe, consistent therapeutic relationship. Interventions often include exploring early caregiving experiences, identifying triggers in current relationships, and developing healthier communication and emotional regulation skills.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I help clients identify their own reasons for change and strengthen intrinsic motivation. I focus on collaboration and autonomy, guiding clients to build confidence and commitment toward meaningful behavioral goals.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help clients increase present-moment awareness and reduce emotional reactivity. I guide clients in practices such as grounding exercises, breathwork, and nonjudgmental observation of thoughts and feelings to improve distress tolerance and self-regulation. Mindfulness is used both in session and as between-session practice to strengthen coping skills and enhance overall emotional well-being.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their symptoms, diagnoses, and the underlying mechanisms contributing to their distress. By providing clear, evidence-based information about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and treatment approaches, I empower clients to make informed decisions and actively participate in their care. Psychoeducation also helps normalize experiences, reduce stigma, and increase engagement in the therapeutic process.
