Genisis Franco
Hi! I'm Genisis. I’m a first-generation, bilingual Latina Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and specialize in supporting children, teenagers and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I help people who are feeling tired of feeling “tired”, overwhelmed or stuck. Many clients come in feeling unseen, weighed down, or burnt out. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone and you are in the right place.
First session
In our first session, I will provide a safe, welcoming and judgement free environment. I will review my practice guidelines with you to ensure this is the correct fit. We will additionally identify and briefly explore current challenges and barriers you are facing. We will also briefly identify your goals and create a plan.
Strengths
My goal is to offer a warm, and safe space. I truly believe that every person matters, and every person’s story deserves to be heard with care and respect. I am committed to create a supportive, validating and culturally attuned space where you can feel understood and seen. I also believe everyone has the capacity for growth and build the necessary strategies to move towards their goals.
Ideal clients
I hold experience working with children, teenagers, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I provide a warm and direct approach to therapy. I specialize in cultural identity, depression and anxiety. I am passionate about supporting individuals through stressful and overwhelming moments. I am also passionate in working closely with clients to help identify, explore and find solutions to their challenges together as a team.
