Are you feeling stuck, disconnected in your relationships, or noticing patterns that you don’t fully understand? You may be wanting to explore deeper—unpacking core beliefs or unresolved experiences that are impacting how you relate to others and to yourself. This process of gaining insight and gently challenging those patterns can be a meaningful step toward healing and growth.
I have experience working with BIPOC individuals, women navigating anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, and individuals experiencing challenges with emotion regulation. I also support clients who are working toward feeling more like themselves again—reconnecting with a sense of balance, clarity, and emotional grounding.
Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is an important part of the process. If what you’re reading resonates with you, I would be honored to support you in this work. Our sessions—whether weekly or biweekly—are a dedicated space for you to slow down, reflect, and focus on your needs.
My current availability is during daytime hours, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and I am not offering evening appointments at this time.
I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey.
Choosing a therapist can be challenging and confusing and one might ask, what does therapy involve? From my experience Therapy involves developing a very special relationship between a professionally licensed practitioner called a therapist and one or more people seeking to collaboratively define and achieve constructive change. This relationship is referred to as the therapeutic bond and is considered one of the most important parts of successful therapy. As such our first step in therapy is, from day one, to form that bond by establishing a trusting, non-shaming environment where any adolescent, person, couple, or family will feel safe and sense the therapist listens, cares, responds appropriately and understands.
Therapy on my behalf will involve empathy, genuineness, and mindful acceptance while we collaboratively establish therapeutic changes / goals which you feel are both desired and are ready to work forward and achieve. Our sessions will involve the language of change as perceived by you the client(s), and constructive finding of solutions. You will be able to present your story without fear of rejection dismissal, guilt or shame.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I am very effective with adolescents and young adults, and people working in the stressful world of business, hi tech and active military service members, and veterans. During my time as a therapist, I have built a reputation as a caring, effective therapist who has my client’s best interests at heart. If you feel a connection or that contacting me could be of value, I would be very happy to hear from you. Until such time I wish you the very best in your quest.
Sincerely,
Mike

One of the primary benefits of therapy is emotional support and validation. I encompass a therapeutic, non judgmental, safe space for clients to express themselves freely. I foster a sense of comfort, empathy, and compassion while helping clients navigate their emotions and gain fresh perspective.
Therapy serves as a tool for self exploration. By engaging in meaningful introspective exercises clients will develop healthier coping tools, leading to personal growth.
I enjoy working collaboratively to develop goals that are realistic, meaningful, and lead to positive change. I view therapy as a journey—one that helps you find steadier footing and supports you as you move along your unique path. Although much of my background has been in public service settings working with severe mental illness, acute crises, and trauma, I welcome concerns of any size. No problem is too small or too overwhelming to bring into therapy. I invite you to give the therapy process a chance to work for you!

Together, we’ll tackle challenges like overthinking, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck, and create a plan that feels authentic and doable.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel scary or stiff, it can be a space where you get to explore, heal, and grow. If you’re ready to make moves toward a life that feels balanced and meaningful, I’m here for you.
