Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session I work with my clients to create a safe, judgment-free, and comfortable environment. We have an open, relaxed conversation where they share as much or as little as they want. We explore what has led them to seek therapy and their therapeutic goals. I strive to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere that is built on trust and mutual respect.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I cultivate a nurturing environment blending compassion and humor to foster growth and exploration for my clients. I prioritize continuous professional development which is reflected my ability to provide the most effective care by tailoring interventions to individual needs. I promote collaborative goal-setting and help clients to implement practical strategies. My approach integrates empathy, humor, and respectful challenges to empower clients on their healing journey. Celebrating their resilience and strengths, I guide them toward greater self-awareness and empowerment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in serving a diverse range of clients, including children aged 6 and up, as well as adults. While many seek support for challenges rooted in childhood trauma, I also address a wide array of issues such as anxiety, depression, boundary-setting, career aspirations, women's issues, and relationship dynamics. Additionally, I am passionate about supporting clients from the LGBTQ+ community and those on the neurodivergent spectrum. My approach is infused with warmth and enthusiasm as I guide individuals toward healing and growth in a professional and supportive environment.

My treatment methods

Experiential Therapy

I find that quite often my clients' issues in life stem from an inability to communicate from a place of authenticity. When someone is able to vocalize emotions and needs with confidence and truth, many problems resolve and along with it a person gains a sense of empowerment and peace.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful treatment method which can help resolve trauma, whether recent or from childhood, simple or complex. I have seen great success in trauma resolution using Brainspotting in sessions.

Couples Counseling

As a marriage and family therapist I am highly trained to work with couples. I have been working with couples for years and help them to communicate better and identify and vocalize their needs within their partnership.

Family Therapy

Working with families and the complex dynamics they bring into session is one of the unique strengths of my particular licensure. I have worked with several families and helped them to heal so that they have a healthier, happier lives together.
