New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy works best when it feels real, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I strive to create a space where clients can show up as they are, without judgment or pressure, and feel supported in exploring whatever they’re carrying. My work is trauma-responsive, relational, and affirming, and I enjoy helping teens and adults navigate healing, identity, relationships, and life’s transitions with both compassion and practical support.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of connection and trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what’s been feeling hard lately, and what you’re hoping for from this process. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say there’s no pressure to tell your whole story right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and together we’ll start identifying goals and what support might feel most helpful.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen, affirmed, and comfortable showing up as themselves, while also offering practical tools and meaningful insight that support real change. I bring a warm, collaborative, and trauma-responsive approach to therapy, balancing curiosity and compassion with honesty and directness. Clients often appreciate having a space where they can both process deeply and leave with something useful they can carry into everyday life.
I often work with clients who feel like they’ve been carrying a lot for a long time. They may be navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship patterns, anxiety, burnout, or identity exploration, and are looking for a space to slow down, make sense of their experiences, and reconnect with themselves. I especially enjoy working with teens and adults, including LGBTQ+ clients, who are seeking therapy that feels affirming, honest, and grounded in real connection.
I identify as
EMDR
I use EMDR to help clients process painful or overwhelming experiences that may still feel “stuck” in the nervous system. EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, difficult life transitions, or experiences that continue to affect self-esteem, relationships, or daily functioning. My approach is collaborative and paced thoughtfully, with a focus on helping clients feel grounded and safe throughout the process.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients build practical skills for managing emotions, navigating stress, improving relationships, and feeling more balanced day to day. DBT combines acceptance with change, supporting clients in understanding their experiences while also developing tools to cope more effectively. I often integrate DBT strategies around mindfulness, boundaries, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance in ways that feel practical and relevant to everyday life.
Relational
I approach therapy through a relational lens, meaning I pay close attention to how past and present relationships shape the way we see ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world. The therapeutic relationship itself can be an important space for insight, healing, and growth. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, strengthen self-understanding, and create more fulfilling relationships, with others and with themselves.
Gender-affirming therapy
I provide gender-affirming therapy grounded in respect, curiosity, and collaboration. I support clients in exploring identity, navigating transitions, processing gender-related stress or dysphoria, and building a stronger sense of self in a space where they feel seen and affirmed. My approach is inclusive, client-led, and responsive to each person’s unique experience.
