I strongly believe you are the expert of your life. However at times life itself gets in the way and we tend to only see what is missing, the half empty glass. Then, we begin to doubt ourselves and with time without attending to ourselves some of the feelings can be: feeling overwhelmed, burnout, anxious, depressed, worried, body pain for no reason to name a few. Together we work together to identify what has worked and explore new ways to bring back balance by addressing your mind, body, spiritual and community needs. We will do this by integrating Solution Focus, Narrative/story, Mindfulness and the latest evidence based therapeutic practices. I provide a safe space where you can explore your present situation and acquire tools and skills to restore and renew your self and live a more fulfilled meaningful life. The clients can expect to take away from each session useful tools and skills to minimize the presenting concerns presented during that session.
I utilize Solution Focus methodology, such as scaling questions, reframing, and asking questions about what is already working present and future. Moving towards the future that they want and learning what can be done differently by using their existing skills, strategies and ideas- rather than focusing on the problem.
