I earned my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Capella University while serving in the U.S. Army. I am a veteran and served as a mental health specialist for 7 years. Upon completion of my commitment I relocated back to Florida where I have worked with community based services, corrections, and crisis response services.

First session
In our first session we will start with brief introductions and you provide information regarding your concerns and expectations. This will help me tailer a treatment plan that will be specific for your needs and success.

The use of identifying cognitive distortions or irrational thoughts that effect behavior and life style expectations.
Couples Counseling
Used for couples married or not to help strengthen the relationship. May be used for premarital counseling or just a to refresh the relationship.
EMDR
Trauma based treatment used to assist in reframing past traumas that affect current behaviors and thoughts processes.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Used to to assist with stress management, anxiety and relaxation issues and concerns.
