Hello, my name is Mary Baummier and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor based in Florida. I am licensed to provide therapy to clients located in Florida, Texas, and Michigan. I received my Masters in mental health counseling from Lynn University and have been practicing for 10 years. I am here to support and empower you.
In our first session together, we will get to know each other, and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create an individualized plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

I love working with individuals who have experienced difficulty with depression, anxiety, and trauma. It can be hard to open up about these issues and my goal is to help you become in tune with yourself as well as to develop positive coping skills.
I use a compassionate and strength-based approach to help my clients achieve their goals. I utilize a goal-directed approach in which I assist my clients with setting reasonable and attainable goals to improve their well-being. I also use a traumatic incident reduction protocol for clients who have experienced trauma.
