I’m Britanie Walker, LCSW, founder of A Touch of Hope LLC. With over 15 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment, I bring a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where adults can show up exactly as they are and feel truly heard and supported. My style is collaborative and grounded in respect, meeting clients where they are in their journey. Together, we work to explore challenges, build on strengths, and develop tools for healing, growth, and lasting change. My goal is to help you rediscover hope at your own pace.
I am a licensed clinician with nearly twenty years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex stressors. Much of my clinical work has been in primary care settings, where I worked with individuals experiencing the intersection of mental health concerns, medical conditions, and significant life challenges.
I take a strengths‑based, collaborative approach and value creating space for clients to share their stories in a way that feels respectful and empowering. My work focuses on building practical coping skills, supporting emotional balance, and helping clients navigate change at a pace that feels manageable and meaningful.
I draw from evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT‑informed), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT‑informed), mindfulness‑based strategies, Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I also have extensive experience collaborating with psychiatrists and supporting clients who are receiving psychiatric medication as part of their care.
I value ongoing learning and continuing education to ensure my work remains thoughtful, ethical, and responsive to each client’s needs. I recognize that starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive, grounded space where growth can happen with honesty, compassion, and mutual respect.
Life can be challenging and uncertain, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in creating meaningful change.

Hello, I'm M.L.
I believe as humans we all want something similar, to feel normal. We want, desire, and try our best to feel like everyone else. Yet, simultaneously we desire to be unique, special, and individualistic. I believe it is necessary to think of humans as puzzle pieces in order to fulfill both. While the pieces share the same geographical space as well as have the same manufacturer, they are unique and serve varying purposes. Do you belong at the top but are content being a side piece? Are you on the bottom when you were meant to be at the center of it all? Let's collaborate and find out where you belong. You may discover the only thing wrong was where you (as a puzzle piece) tried to fit in.
In therapy, I collaborate with the expert on the client (you), identify obstacles, and come up with strategies for working toward your goals. I do this by first remaining curious about you as a client as well as your perspective of the issue. I serve to remind clients that everything in life does not have to feel good in order to end with good results.
You can't fix something that you don’t see. In a world of selfies no one is willing to look at any angle that doesn’t compliment their cuteness. What if you could see your truest self? The natural, emotional, relational, and spiritual you through a 3-way full body mirror. Imagine what would be possible. Good therapy, is a mirror into your soul.
Hi, I'm Lindsay. With 12 years of experience, I believe true healing begins when you feel genuinely seen. I am here to walk alongside you with a listening ear and a commitment to true collaboration. Through non-judgmental listening, we will navigate life's heavy seasons together, empowering you to rediscover your resilience. You do not have to carry it all alone.
Hi there, I'm Alisha.
Do you feel that you have not discovered your purpose in life? Do you feel that life has handed you some obstacles that are unmanageable? Do you struggle with setting boundaries and self-care?
I believe therapy should be a safe place where you can be completely transparent, not feel judged, or feel uncomfortable when unpacking trauma or dealing with internal conflict. Most individuals benefit from working with a qualified and experienced therapist to assist with identifying their problem areas and finding effective solutions to resolve personal issues.
I follow the basic principles of the “golden rule,” which is to always treat others the way we would like to be treated. Life can definitely be a challenge and it is important to receive unconditional positive regard and support from an experienced counselor. So, whether you need assistance with a breakthrough or just need someone to talk with in a safe and therapeutic environment, I am the right fit for you!

Hi. My name is San Juanita Diaz. You can call me Janie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have 26 years of experience provisioning counseling services to individuals, families, and groups. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance. My experience includes: 15 years of providing counseling services to families involved with Child Protective Services, 5 years of working in nursing homes, and working in a variety of outpatient settings. My goal is to provide client centered therapy services based on clients individual therapy needs.
I work with high-functioning adults who look like they have it together and are quietly running on empty — people whose competence has become the thing they hide behind. If you hold yourself to standards nobody else could meet, if your worth feels like something you have to earn, if you can't rest without guilt, we'll likely work well together.
My foundation is TEAM-CBT, an evidence-based approach I hold Level 3 Advanced certification in through the Feeling Good Institute, and I train regularly with the Beck Institute. It gives our work real structure and proven tools. But symptoms usually rest on something older — beliefs about what you have to be in order to be worth something, patterns in how you relate, things you've learned to think your way around instead of feel. So we don't stop at coping strategies. We work toward what's underneath.
I see clients virtually across Virginia, Florida, and Texas.
Hi, I'm Candice! Life can be complicated, relationships can be confusing, and sometimes our brains refuse to cooperate. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship stress, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain insight, and find a path forward.
I bring a blend of compassion, curiosity, humor, and practical strategies to the therapy room. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self... messy thoughts, big feelings, and all. Together, we'll work to understand what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and help you move toward the life you want to be living.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 10 years as an educator, giving me a deep appreciation for the emotional, developmental, and relational challenges that children, teens, and families experience. As a mom myself for nearly a decade, I also understand the profound ways that parenthood can reshape identity, relationships, and mental health.

Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), while also incorporating Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you better understand and process your emotions. I am a Licenced Professional Counselor in Texas and National Certified Counselor. I have a Bachelors from the University of California, Berkeley in Social Welfare and African American Studies, a Masters in School Counseling, and a Certification in Contemporary Mental Health Issues from Capella University. I have 20 years of experience working as a mentor, a teacher, and providing guidance to youth and families.
As a first generation college graduate, I understand what it means to navigate systems, expectations, and transitions without a roadmap. My own journey shaped the heart of my work: helping adolescents and young adults who are carrying similar pressures, hopes, and responsibilities. I know the resilience it takes to succeed while balancing family dynamics, cultural identity, and the desire to create a life that feels authentic and self directed. In my practice, I use a solution focused, strengths based approach that empowers clients to identify what’s working, build on their natural abilities, and create meaningful change in their daily lives. I believe therapy should be practical, collaborative, and deeply affirming—especially for individuals who have had to figure out so much on their own. I am passionate about supporting first generation students, high achieving youth, and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who are navigating identity development, family expectations, academic or career stress, and the pressure to “be the one who makes it.” My goal is to provide a space where clients feel seen, supported, and equipped with tools that help them move forward with steadiness and self‑trust.
I am a seasoned counselor familiar with adolescents, issues of personal development, empowerment, issues about personal power, overcoming fear, and identifying values. I value honesty, courage, self-actualization and altruism. I have worked almost exclusively with males. I see the world from a male perspective because that's the point of view I have experienced life through. I have spent years in the gym. I am a musician, and I play out somewhere every week.
There are a few high-stakes, difficult life situations I want to address here: If you are afraid of your child setting a fire, trying to get a gun, or stealing from you in plain sight, reach out. If your child is being bullied, I might be able to help him to acquire the skills necessary to hold his own in life. Finally, if you or a family member is being stalked or threatened by someone, I may be able to professionally assess the danger.
Hello, I am Dr. Mario Kirk. Are you struggling with worry, sadness, fatigue, lack of motivation or grief? Are you having relationship/family problems or maybe work difficulties?
