Baddies have bad days too. You may look confident, capable, and put together on the outside while quietly struggling underneath. I work with adults navigating heartbreak, relationship concerns, trauma, anxiety, and low self esteem. I provide a warm and honest space where you can put down the pressure to have it all together, work through what is hurting, and begin feeling like yourself again.

First session

Your first session is really about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, and what you would like to get out of our time together. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We’ll start where you are and go from there.

Strengths

I bring warmth, honesty, compassion, and a little humor into my sessions. I will hold space for the emotions and experiences that feel too heavy to carry alone, but I will also challenge the thoughts and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe therapy can be both supportive and direct. You do not have to do the hard work by yourself. We will face it together and work toward the healing you deserve.

Ideal clients

My ideal client may be dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, heartbreak, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. You may understand that something needs to change but aren’t quite sure where to start. I work best with clients who want a supportive space to process what they’re experiencing, better understand themselves, and begin making meaningful changes in their lives.

Treatment methods

Integrative

My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I tailor treatment to the individual rather than using the same approach with every client. Depending on your needs and goals, I may incorporate person-centered therapy, solution-focused techniques, CBT, DBT skills, trauma-informed care, and EMDR. Some clients benefit from practical tools and coping strategies, while others need space to process, gain insight, or work through deeper emotional experiences. We will work together to determine what feels most helpful for you.

EMDR

I use EMDR, an approach that can help you process experiences that still carry emotional weight. EMDR can be used for trauma, heartbreak, difficult relationships, anxiety, negative beliefs about yourself, and other painful experiences. Many people appreciate EMDR because it can sometimes create meaningful shifts more quickly than traditional talk therapy alone. I may use CBT, EMDR, or a combination of both based on your needs and goals.
