I’m Ohonmi Belo-Osagie, a licensed clinical social worker, behavioral health leader, and founder & CEO of Reveille Therapy. I believe healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress with practical tools that create lasting change. As a therapist, I understand the demands of balancing work, family, and personal well-being. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about your struggles while discovering your strengths. Together, we'll move beyond simply managing symptoms toward building resilience, confidence, and a life that aligns with your values. My goal is to help you rise, renew, and reclaim the life you deserve.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring your current concerns, and identifying the goals you hope to achieve. I'll ask questions about your emotional, physical, relational, and personal history to better understand the full picture of your experiences. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about my approach and share what's most important to you. Together, we'll begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and identify practical strategies you can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the journey ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I combine compassion with clinical expertise. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I create a safe, nonjudgmental environment while also challenging them when necessary to foster meaningful growth. I don't believe in simply listening; I help clients identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical skills they can use in everyday life. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions. I tailor each session to the individual because no two healing journeys are the same. As the Founder & CEO of Reveille Therapy and an experienced clinician working across outpatient, intensive outpatient, and private practice settings, I've supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. My life experiences have deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief that healing is possible even after life's most difficult seasons. Whether you need someone to sit with you through pain, teach practical coping skills, gently challenge limiting beliefs, or celebrate your progress, I'll meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in their emotional well-being, even if they are unsure how to start. They may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, or major life transitions. Some clients come to therapy feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, while others simply want a safe space to process difficult experiences and gain clarity. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, professionals, caregivers, and couples who are motivated to understand themselves better, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're navigating past trauma, managing everyday stress, healing from loss, or seeking personal growth, we'll work together to identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and build a life that reflects your values and goals. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you're willing to show up with honesty and openness, I'm committed to walking alongside you with compassion, accountability, and evidence-based care as you move toward healing, resilience, and lasting wellness.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, trauma responses, stress, and relationship challenges, then replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. CBT is a collaborative and goal-oriented approach. During our sessions, we'll explore how your thoughts influence your emotions and daily choices, practice evidence-based coping strategies, and develop practical skills you can use outside of therapy. My goal is to help you feel better now and equip you with lifelong tools for resilience, confidence, and lasting emotional well-being.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility, the ability to respond to difficult thoughts and emotions without allowing them to control their lives. Rather than trying to eliminate painful experiences, ACT teaches clients how to accept what is outside their control while taking meaningful action toward the life they want to live. In our work together, we'll identify your core values, learn mindfulness and acceptance skills, reduce the impact of self-critical or unhelpful thoughts, and build the confidence to move forward despite fear, anxiety, or uncertainty. ACT is especially helpful for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic stress, and life transitions because it empowers them to live a rich, purposeful life even when challenges arise.

Psychoeducation

I believe that understanding your mental health is an important part of the healing process. I use psychoeducation to help clients learn how thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and the nervous system influence their overall well-being. By understanding why certain patterns develop, clients often feel more empowered, less self-critical, and better equipped to make meaningful changes. Throughout therapy, I provide practical, evidence-based information tailored to your unique needs. This may include education about anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, attachment styles, emotional regulation, communication skills, coping strategies, and relapse prevention. My goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, and leave each session with knowledge and tools you can apply in your daily life.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their motivations for change in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Rather than telling you what to do, I work collaboratively with you to identify your strengths, resolve ambivalence, and build confidence in your ability to make meaningful, lasting changes. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and goal-focused conversations, we'll uncover what matters most to you and develop realistic steps toward your goals. Motivational interviewing is especially effective for clients navigating life transitions, behavior change, anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, health-related goals, and personal growth because it empowers them to make changes that align with their values and readiness.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize that they are more than the challenges they're facing. Together, we'll identify your existing strengths, resilience, values, and past successes and use them as a foundation for growth and healing. Even during difficult seasons, everyone has personal qualities and resources that can support positive change. Rather than focusing solely on problems or symptoms, I work collaboratively with clients to build confidence, develop practical coping skills, and create solutions that align with their goals and values. By recognizing what's already working and expanding on those strengths, clients are better equipped to overcome obstacles, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting, meaningful change.
