Hello!I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor and have been practicing since 2014. I have worked with a variety of populations, both within the community and in correctional facilities. This experience has provided me with a wealth of knowledge that I hope to apply towards helping individuals in multiple chapters in life. I do my best to meet clients right where they are and walk alongside them as they move forward in life.
First session
In our first session, it is my goal to create an environment that is accepting and fosters empowerment for client to meet themselves right where they are. I believe Counseling is very similar to the purpose of a mirror and creating a space to look at life on a deeper level with a safe and unbiased setting.
Strengths
My approach has transformed over the years through both personal and professional experiences, which has continued to enhance my ability to remain flexible and supportive environment to clients no matter where they are in life. I have learned to be more intentional with each client and value my ability to hold a safe yet challenging space that fosters growth.
Ideal clients
I have worked well with clients who are navigating major life transitions (substance use, parenting and criminal justice involved), interpersonal relationship obstacles and grief. This also includes individuals who are navigating new chapters and stages of life and open to exploring themselves on a deeper level. I understood Counseling is a completely different world to explore and do my best to meet clients where they are.
