Hello! I am happy that you are looking for a qualified professional to help you with your needs. My name is Erik Hedlund and I have been a therapist and substance use counselor for 12 years. I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups in private practice outpatient settings as well as in residential care for those with severe mental illness.
As a first-generation Latina therapist, I chose this field because I know how meaningful it can be to have someone show up for you when you’re navigating the challenges of growing, finding yourself, and caring for your mental health. I want to be the kind of support I once needed—someone who listens without judgment, creates space for honesty, and meets you where you are. My approach is authentic, empathetic, and focused on helping you create meaningful change while still honoring your unique experiences and background. I’m naturally laid-back and validating, but I’m also a challenger when I see an opportunity to help you grow, reflect, or step outside of what may be holding you back. No matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be.
I'm Kate and I've been in the mental health field for years but licensed for 5 years. Facing my own challenges led me into the field and the job of working with others has validated that it has been the right career decision. Walking alongside others in their challenges and seeing them enjoy life again has been a treasure. I thoroughly enjoy my role as a therapist and hope you will enjoy working with me!
I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward greater well-being and self-understanding. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas and Tennessee, I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to partner with you, helping you find resilience and uncover strengths as we work together through life’s challenges. Every person’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to offering care that is as individual as you are. You know your life better than anyone, and my role is to walk alongside you, bringing tools, perspective, and genuine support as we work through whatever you're facing. I don't see myself as the expert in the room — you are.

Hi, I'm Mayra, thank you for taking the time to considering me as a companion in your therapy journey.
Therapy can be a challenge for some people so I like to provide gentle guidance. There is no single way of conducting therapy- everyone needs different approaches, resources and therapeutic support. I strive to help create a safe space for people to explore their identity (cultural, familial, sexual, etc).
I have worked in the medical field for almost 20 years in different roles. This has allowed me to gain different perspectives and have a better understanding of the medical community. Having been part of this community has allowed me to serve patients, caregivers, first responders and medical professionals.
Most of my adulthood has been spent in Austin and the Hill Country. I am a bilingual first-generation Texan and I’m happy to call Central Texas home. However, I was born and raised in South Texas and la frontera (the borderlands) is also very much part of my identity. I find that our cultures and family of origin at times play a role in how we choose to carry our experiences and expectations.
You may look like you have everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, women's issues, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ related concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy during periods of change, loss, self discovery, or emotional distress when the strategies that once worked no longer seem enough. Whether you're struggling with persistent worry, processing difficult experiences, navigating relationship challenges, rebuilding your confidence, or trying to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and heal. My goal is to help you gain greater clarity, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values, needs, and sense of purpose.
Isoke Griffin, a LPC with years of experience, has gained knowledge at South University and through invaluable experiences in education and therapeutic settings. Early in her career, she knew her work would involve supporting others. Isoke enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families, helping them discover their passions, overcome obstacles, and live a life of purpose. She deeply understands the critical role of therapeutic experiences in creating a level playing field, underscoring the importance and impact of her work.
Hi. I'm Steve.
Do you ever wonder why, no matter how many different things you've tried, you fall back into old behaviors that hurt you and/or those you love? Do you wonder why your emotions take over and leave you feeling incapable or overwhelmed? Do your emotions get in the way of effectively communicating when it matters the most?
We all face questions like this, and the most fulfilling part of my work is helping people like you find answers to those questions. I don’t have any “one-size-fits-all” solutions, but together we will work to identify what drives your responses and what you can do to make lasting changes. We will work to help you anticipate and prevent issues before they appear, to feel emotional intensity rising and calm it down, and to exit stressful situations before doing or saying something you’ll regret. I don’t believe that our worst moments define us. I DO believe that each of us is capable of overcoming past struggles and finding a new path. I look forward to working with you as you try to find yours.
Welcome! I’m Teresa Estrada, Licensed Psychotherapist, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and Qualified Clinical Supervisor.

I built my practice on a simple belief: people deserve a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood. My work in clinical psychology is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s story. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply trying to make sense of a difficult season in life, I aim to create an environment where they can breathe, settle, and begin the work of growth.
Clients often describe me as steady, approachable, and easy to talk to. I value clear communication, gentle guidance, and a collaborative approach that honors each person’s strengths. My practice is designed to feel welcoming from the very first interaction — from the intake process to ongoing sessions — because I know how vulnerable it can be to reach out for help.
I’m drawn to evidencebased care that still leaves room for humanity. I enjoy learning new therapeutic tools, refining clinical systems, and creating a practice that feels both professional and deeply personal. My goal is always the same: to help people feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to heal, and empowered enough to move forward.
Outside of session, I stay curious about the human experience — reading, learning, and exploring ideas in psychology, wellness, and personal growth. At the heart of my work is a genuine belief in people: their resilience, their capacity to change, and the meaningful transformations that happen when they feel truly supported.
8/27/2026 Update - Openings for 2 new clients. Do you ever feel stuck, disconnected, or like you just don’t feel like yourself anymore? Maybe you’ve found yourself wondering, “Is this really how life is supposed to feel?” Therapy can be a place to slow down, breathe, and talk openly without judgment. Together, we’ll work through what’s weighing on you and help you feel more grounded, and in control. I work with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, grief, breakups, parenting stress, postpartum challenges, divorce, work and financial stress, trauma, and more.
I’m Mariam Saibu, a somatic mental health therapist specializing in women’s mental health and the unique ways trauma, stress, and mood challenges show up in both mind and body. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and maintain specialized licenses in trauma, addiction, and vocational counseling. Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient, outpatient, and state agency settings, providing care for children, adolescents, and adults. These experiences gave me the opportunity to treat a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, self-esteem struggles, substance use, and career transitions. I have also supported individuals on the autism spectrum in building social and behavioral skills to thrive in both employment and relationships.
While I have worked with diverse populations, my passion lies in supporting women—particularly those navigating trauma, mood dysregulation, and life changes. I am licensed to practice in Georgia and Texas. I integrate my background in both biology and counseling to take a holistic approach to care. By weaving together somatic practices with evidence-based therapies, I help clients address how trauma and stress impact the body as well as the mind.
In our work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and respect. My role is to walk alongside you, providing tools and insight to help you move forward while creating a safe environment for growth. Whether you’re seeking to manage trauma, improve mood and self-esteem, or find clarity in life’s transitions, I am here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

Hello, I am a clinical psychologist who has been in practice sine 1999. I work with a general adult population, with my main focus being on PTSD, depression and anxiety. During the early stages of my career, I performed extensive psychological and neuropsychological testing. This helped me to understand the general workings of the brain and how important it is to utilize this knowledge in my therapy. I have found that helping my clients understand that mental illness is not "just in my head" or something I need to "get over' has been so very beneficial in people healing and taking control of their lives. I hope to have the opportunity to help you heal and make positive changes in your life.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019,. My primary experience has been in a community mental health setting, focusing on addictions and co-occurring issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. I love collaborating with you to help dig through your worries and problems and to work with you to find answers to the problems that you’d given up on solving. You and your lived experience as an indispensable part of the therapy process, and I follow your lead as to whether we focus on solutions, understanding and insight, or both. Whichever direction you choose, we can talk about skills to manage stress and emotions when things don’t go well in the future, and talk about how to build stronger relationships to help you grow.
Hello, I’m Ciarys, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Texas.
As a therapist, I believe that a kind and supportive, client-focused approach is crucial in helping navigate the many challenges that life can bring. Life can be full of challenges, and sometimes, seeking professional support can be a game-changer. I’m proud to be able to meet my clients where they are at, as we explore what therapy has to offer.
I grew up in Los Angeles, California and am currently residing in Austin, TX. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Chicano/a Studies at the University of California Los Angeles in 2012 and my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Southern California in 2018. I'm Jessica, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) with over 17 years of experience helping high-achieving women, leaders, and professionals manage anxiety that often goes unseen by the people around them. My clients are usually the ones everyone else relies on: the dependable colleague, the steady parent, the person who always has it handled while privately running on overdrive, rarely permitting themselves to slow down.
I specialize in working with high-performing women and leaders whose anxiety shows up as constant overthinking, perfectionism, difficulty switching off at the end of the day, or an underlying fear of dropping the ball. Sometimes it looks like racing thoughts before a big meeting or presentation. Sometimes it's the tension that follows you home from work and doesn't ease up, even on weekends. And sometimes it's simply the quiet exhaustion of always being "on" for your team, your family, and everyone who counts on you.
Together, we'll work to understand your specific anxiety patterns, what triggers them, how they show up in your body and your thinking, and what's actually maintaining them so we can shift them at the root, rather than just managing symptoms week to week.
My style is warm, direct, and practical. I'm not interested in therapy that circles a problem for months without traction. I want you to leave each session with concrete language and tools you can use immediately, whether that's in a high-stakes meeting, a difficult conversation, or simply trying to fall asleep with a quieter mind. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, and I bring the same standards I hold for my own life: discipline, clarity, and follow-through into how I show up for my clients.
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC), in Texas. I received my Masters from UT Brownsville. I also have a PhD in the Philosophy of Psychology where my research was in Positive Psychology. Mental and emotional problems make us feel stuck but each person has power to overcome and move to flourishing.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals struggling with stressful situations, depression, anxiety ADHD, trauma-related issues etc. Let’s work through these challenges together to identify the problem, explore new and alternative ways to make changes and start building healthier habits. To get you there, we will use different evidence-based approaches based on the identified needs and goals.
Hello, I'm Kim. Are you looking for ways to build a life worth living? I am happy and privileged to be a part of your journey for change. I have a passion for helping clients find an emotional balance and happiness in their lives. I will work with you to reach your goals through an open-minded and caring alliance. I work with you to help you build a life worth living, guiding you to the goals and contentment you seek. We will work together in a supportive environment on this journey toward change.
I believe in helping clients find ways to jumpstart their change in a goal-oriented manner. Clients and I work together to set goals that help them move forward. Using cognitive-behavioral therapy and other counseling methods, I will help you find the path for change that works for you in an understanding and caring environment.
Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, life changes, or relationship issues, I would be honored to help you discover a path to healing. Congratulations on taking the first step toward therapy and a happier future.
Hi there. My name is Karman and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and my Master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and have worked in a variety of settings, most recently as a Crisis Intervention Counselor for a local school district. I'm Kemi, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes real change starts with feeling truly heard. Since middle school, I've been the person others turn to for encouragement, so becoming a therapist felt less like a career change and more like coming home to it. I bring warmth, honesty, and a steady presence into every session, paired with clinical training in CBT, Internal Family Systems, and culturally responsive care. My goal isn't to hand you a script — it's to help you see your own strength clearly enough to use it.
Hi! I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas for almost 17 years. I received my Masters degree in counseling from St. Edwards University. I am eager to provide a safe space for you to process life's daily struggles and help you achieve your goals. Seeking help through therapy is the first step in improving your life!
I am a bilingual Licensed therapist. I'm fluent in Spanish and English. As a child of immigrants, I grew up between Chicago and Mexico, so I got the opportunity to be exposed to both cultures. I relocated to the Houston area in 2010 after receiving a great job opportunity. As a therapist, I help my clients to work on their personal growth and to learn better ways to deal with difficult transitions.
Hi, I'm Esther.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Daring Way Trained Facilitator. I've been providing counseling to individuals for almost 6 years. Prior to that, I worked in the education sector for almost 10 years, which deeply sparked my interest in pursuing mental health work.
To me, counseling sessions are like writing a story. It is a process that involves brainstorming, creating drafts, and making revisions until your story feels whole and complete. Imagine you are the writer. You have all the pieces of your story within you already. Think of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as those pieces. Sometimes, they don’t make any sense, it’s overwhelming, and you don’t know where to begin. I view my role as someone who is with you to guide you through the process and help organize those very thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with you. During our time together, it is my hope that you develop the skills to ultimately write your story on your own.
Your story may include experiencing cycles of depression, anxiety, grief, past trauma, struggles of worthiness and belonging, the complexities of being a part of an immigrant family, generational trauma, a combination of these things, or perhaps something entirely different. Everyone's mental health journey is different. I’m here to meet you where you are.
I also want to acknowledge how scary it can be when taking a leap of faith into a new therapeutic journey. It takes a lot of courage. More than anything, it’s important to me that you feel safe and the stories you share are handled with utmost care.
I have had the privilege to work with adults, teens, and children who struggle with life challenges, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and grief. I offer a safe space for clients to gain insight, learn more about themselves, and heal from painful experiences that continue to affect their personal life. In my practice, I help clients to reinvent themselves and unlearn unhealthy patterns that no longer serve a purpose through a compassionate approach.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. My professional background includes private practice, school-based mental health services, residential treatment, chemical dependency counseling, hospice, and home health. These experiences have strengthened my ability to help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, family stress, major life transitions, and other complex challenges.
For the past six years, I have worked in public school settings, primarily supporting students receiving special education services. In this role, I helped children, families, and school teams better understand the “why” behind behavior, develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create practical supports that can be used at school, at home, and in the community.
I have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, OCD, selective mutism, trauma-related concerns, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm behaviors, and behavioral challenges. I also understand the stress that parents and caregivers may experience while trying to support a child with emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.

I often use humor to connect with my clients. I will provide you with a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgemental safe space in which we can openly talk about whatever brings you to counseling.
Every individual is unique, and so are their life challenges. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, or other everyday life stressors, reaching out to get help is the first step to hope and healing.
I am a compassionate and experienced licensed clinical social worker committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and strengths-based interventions. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions while helping them develop healthier coping skills, build resilience, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.
