Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who graduated in 2009 from a small college in Pennsylvania. Currently, I live in North Carolina and I am licensed here and in Tennessee. Originally, I am from Connecticut, but I have lived all over this country and have lived overseas as well when I was in the Peace Corps. I have been working mainly with adults who are living with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My focus is to help people live their best life. I do this through the therapy process, but I also try to include humor in our sessions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Tennessee but also licensed in Kentucky. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Louisville. I have over 25 years of experience working clients of all ages in a variety of settings. I currently focus on helping adults and adolescents with difficulties they are struggling with, so they can be the best version of themselves.
My name is James Smith. I am a graduate of Florida State University College of Social Work. I lived in FL nearly all of my life, until in 2024 I had a chance to live closer to family in TN. My primary practice has been in the medical field, especially working with seniors with dementia and hospice. I currently work with dialysis patients. I am currently licensed in FL and TN and open for new patients. I believe that most individuals needing therapy already have the answers that they seek and need a trusted individual to listen to their concerns. When problems arise, I help you to navigate through your ideas, provide feedback and help you find success. I enjoy spending time with my family, training for and completing triathlons and working for better handwriting tools for lefties.
If you've ever wished your brain came with a user manual, you're not alone. Life can get complicated. Sometimes our minds make it even more complicated.
For more than 31 years, I've helped people of all ages work through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and the effects of difficult life experiences. My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping you make meaningful changes—not just talk about problems.
If you're tired of overthinking, feeling stuck, or carrying burdens that seem heavier than they should be, therapy can help. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way and develop strategies that fit your life and goals.
Hello! I am so glad you have made the decision towards making positive changes for yourself. I specialize in helping my clients who are struggling to manage emotions and behaviors that are interfering with their daily functioning in areas such as personal relationships, work, parenting, school, etc. These struggles may be the result of a single event that threatened survival, like a car accident, or from a chronic history of trauma and loss. Or maybe one struggles to manage their emotions and behaviors but they do not understand why. Maybe a person's life seems pretty good or even great. But they're puzzled as to why they feel the way they do. One may have thought "I have no reason to feel this way." I invite you to explore with me the possible origins of these thoughts and feelings. There are times we all need help and support.

Hi. My name is Christine Toler, Chris, and I earned my Ed.S and LPC- MHSP in the state of Tennessee, New Jersey and Delaware. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2010, and a School Counselor since 2006.
I started being a believer in therapy when it first helped me over forty years ago, (as a child). I thought what a wonderful way to get to the root of the problem... and get rid of it. Since then, I have been working on myself as a client as well as acquiring a licensure to help others, including teens, adults and families. I focus on solution based and non-judgmental cognitive therapy. I believe understanding a problem is not the end of the work. (unfortunately)
The action we take to support a positive change... is what changes lives. And while I have experienced that in some very important areas... I continue to grow... daily. I choose to be transparent about that because I believe it is important to the work that my clients know I understand how it feels to be in their chair.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, guilt, grief, or all of the above, I believe I can help you.
I've been in the mental health field for around 17 years, licensed in the last 6, and have worked with a variety of clients. I've worked with parents who are struggling with behavioral issues with their children, adults struggling with chronic illness, older adults dealing with aging, and adults in general who are experiencing life transitions that are proving to be difficult to manage. I work to help clients find helpful ways of coping, while also addressing the core of the issues that they are dealing with.
Hello, my name is Les Parker, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I provide telehealth therapy to clients throughout Tennessee and work with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress-related concerns.
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, helping you better understand your experiences, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change in your life.
I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches can help address anxiety, depression, trauma, negative self-beliefs, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Many of the clients I work with appear to be functioning well on the outside while struggling internally with worry, self-doubt, emotional pain, or unresolved experiences from the past. Others come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges and wanting a better understanding of themselves and their relationships.
My goal is to help clients gain insight, build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and move toward a life that feels more connected to their values and goals. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply looking to grow and heal, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you throughout the process.
Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I look forward to helping you move toward lasting healing and personal growth.

Basically, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a background of working with individuals but due to my family therapy training I do want to know your family situation and ways that work and don't work for you. I have been working with Medicare clients and SPMI (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness). Many time I have found that clients who usually manage their lives well can sometimes feel overwhelmed by changes that occur in their lives. I truly want to locate and focus on strengths, but want to be supportive of areas where support is needed. Life can be difficult and learning coping skills can help us navigate both the highs and lows that life brings us. If needed, I guide individual to explore and analysis their past. I am friendly and positive. I want to help you feel better. If there are traumas, I will listen. 🛷

Coping with these pressures, whether they stem from emotional distress, anxiety, employment or relationship issues, or even trauma, is incredibly difficult. I'm here to help. Let's work together to transform your life experiences into a source of purpose and strength.

"We don't have to do it all alone; we were never meant to." – Brené Brown
This belief is at the heart of my work as a therapist. I am passionate about walking alongside my clients as a team, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Many people share things with me that they have never shared with anyone else, which is why I believe that trust and the therapeutic relationship are the most important foundations of therapy.
I work with individuals ages 10 to 55 and have experience supporting both individuals and families. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). My specialty is working with teens and young adults, as I believe this transitional period is critical for personal growth and reaching one’s full potential.
Before becoming a therapist, I served as a firefighter and first responder for over a decade, including combat firefighting tours in Iraq. This background has shaped my deep commitment to resilience, healing, and supporting others through life’s most challenging moments.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Tennessee. I received my master's from the University of Tennessee along with a certificate for The Treatment of Trauma. I have been practicing for 8 years. I help people of all ages identify their triggers, process their trauma, and learn healthy coping skills and boundaries and how to improve relationships and self-care.
I’m someone who understands how overwhelming it can feel to be caught in life’s in-between space, whether it’s the end of a relationship, the shift in a friendship, or the uncertainty of what comes after graduation. I work with adults who are often relied upon by others but sometimes struggle to support themselves.
As a therapist and thought partner, I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity into our work. I believe therapy is a place where you can take off the mask, slow down, and reconnect with who you are outside of expectations and pressure. My role is to walk alongside you as you process the past, make sense of where you are now, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I have approximately 30 years of experience in virtually all clinical settings. I began my career working in a juvenile penitentiary (referred to as a 'youth development center) and after almost 6 years, left that setting and moved on to new opportunities. Along the way, I worked with group homes, foster homes, substance abuse treatment programs, and even provided treatment in a sexual offender treatment program. In 2004 I went solely into private practice and currently operate two offices. I also provided on-site services to businesses that suffer a death or other disruptive event; I have provided over 170 of these services in four states during the last several years. While you don't need any faith to see me, I also offer Christian Counseling. Finally, I am a US Army veteran and understand the challenges and needs of veterans.
I operate under a practical approach that seeks to build on a person's strengths to achieve realistic, measurable goals. I utilize primarily cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy to help my clients achieve their goals and to live life more fully.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) providing individual therapy to adults (18+) across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with.
My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, Hospice programs, schools and as an independent contractor providing tele-mental health counseling services to individuals who are experiencing varying levels of challenges due to chronic medical conditions, life situations and/or mental health concerns.
I enjoy helping people work through the challenges of today's world as we take the journey together to get you to where you want to be in your life.
I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist. I primarily work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family or relationship difficulties. Many clients seek treatment because they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to manage the challenges they’re facing.
My approach is structured and evidence‑based. I focus on helping you understand the factors contributing to your symptoms and developing clear, practical strategies for change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness‑based interventions to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and build healthier behavioral patterns.
Accountability is an important part of the work we do together. I will support you, but I will also provide direct feedback and encourage consistent follow‑through on the changes you identify as important. Progress requires active participation, and I work best with clients who are ready to take responsibility for implementing new skills and strategies between sessions.
My Style is:
Straightforward – Honest and clear, but always respectful.
Practical – Tools that work in everyday life, not just theory.
Explorative – Space to reflect deeply in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Encouraging – Support that helps you feel capable, validated, and motivated to change.
Accountability-focused – Growth comes from owning your choices and committing to real change.
This works well if you are willing to:
• Look at your own patterns and find areas for growth and change
• Practice new skills between our sessions and create a plan for change
• Stay open to feedback, exploration, and trying approaches that fit your unique needs
Through my years of practice I have come to understand that the most important factor in having a positive and productive therapy experience is the solid collaboration between the therapist and the patients. In a trusting, confidential and empathic environment one can manage challenging issues and find a way towards self improvement and further growth. I provide support and guidance and encourage self determination to help my client reach goals that are important to them. It's a valuable partnership in which I hope to assist in finding a way to more fulfilling relationships, more satisfaction and greater self esteem.
