New to Grow
I am a clinical social worker with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a wide range of individuals—including adolescents, teens, and older adults—through some of life’s most challenging moments. I’m especially passionate about helping people navigate transitions. Whether you’re facing a major life change, feeling stuck, or working through a difficult season, my goal is to help you see beyond the hardship and reconnect with your strengths, resilience, and sense of possibility. In our work together, we’ll focus on building the skills and tools that help you move from the negative toward a more grounded, hopeful, and empowered place. I look forward to walking alongside you as you take those steps forward.
In our first session, we’ll take some time to settle in and get to know each other. We’ll go over the assessments you completed and talk through anything that feels important for you to share. From there, we’ll explore your goals—what you’re hoping to work on, what you want life to feel like, and what you’d like to gain from therapy. This first meeting is really about creating a comfortable starting point. You can ask questions, share at your own pace, and get a sense of how we’ll work together. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the path we’re beginning.
I believe the most meaningful work starts exactly where you are. Together, we build from that point—at your pace, with your goals leading the way. I see therapy as a collaborative space for growth, where we explore challenges, uncover strengths, and develop practical coping skills that genuinely support your daily life. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches because no single style fits everyone. My goal is to find what resonates with you, adapt as we go, and create a process that feels supportive, effective, and uniquely tailored to your needs
Life can be hard, and I want to help people navigate their lives. I also want to help people change their perspectives about challenges in their life and negative mindsets. I am here to help everyone, from younger people just starting out in life to elder people facing various transitions in their life. I have worked for many years with those facing issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance use. I also enjoy working with family members of substance users as I feel they sometimes get left behind in the healing process.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and practice small, realistic changes that make daily life feel more manageable. It’s a collaborative, practical approach focused on building skills you can use outside of therapy.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution‑Focused Therapy centers on your strengths, resources, and what’s already working. Instead of digging deeply into problems, we focus on the changes you want to see and the small steps that can move you toward them. Together, we identify your goals, highlight your existing abilities, and build practical solutions that fit your life.
