Life has a way of nudging us to grow, pause, and ask deeper questions—especially when things feel hard or uncertain. No matter your age or stage, those moments are part of being human. My approach to counseling is eclectic and collaborative, grounded in creating a space where you can show up as you are and feel genuinely supported. Together, we’ll sort through what’s going on, build tools to help you cope, and find ways to move forward that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
I work with people navigating burnout, midlife transitions, imposter syndrome, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I bring both clinical insight and a real, human presence to the work (and yes, sometimes that includes a little well-placed profanity). I’m especially passionate about understanding how our early family experiences shape the way we live, love, and work. I truly believe that when the right space is created, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself in powerful, lasting ways.

If you’re ready to feel grounded again, set boundaries without guilt, and build a life that’s sustainable, I use EMDR along with CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, and motivational interviewing to help you get there.

Hi, I am Jordan! I’m a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I received my Master of Social work from East Carolina University & my Bachelor’s in Family and Community Services from there as well. I have been practicing therapy for over seven years. I have experience working in the hospital setting, schools, clinics, and private practice. I live in Eastern North Carolina with my family and our dog. I’d like to think I'm a fairly down to earth, easy going, and a generally positive person. I love helping clients improve their mental wellbeing and consider it a privilege to walk alongside them.
You deserve to live your life feeling centered, safe, and well. You don't have to meditate for hours every day, become a yogi master, or spend years in therapy to achieve this. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to explore your feelings, identify your strengths, become comfortable with yourself, and find peace.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of professional and/or lived experience with vicarious trauma/secondary traumatic stress, work stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and role changes through life stages. I understand the experience of loving and living with someone who is struggling with mental health and/or addiction concerns.

For over 13 years, I have dedicated my practice to supporting women as they navigate the many demands of modern life. I understand firsthand what it means to move between worlds. Growing up in Brooklyn as the daughter of immigrant parents, and now living in South Florida, I have been shaped by diverse cultures, communities, and perspectives. My love of travel has deepened that curiosity about the human experience. In the therapy room, this translates into a genuine ability to meet you where you are regardless of your background, your story, or how far from yourself you may feel right now.
Welcome, I’m Elaine a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), based in North Carolina, I’m also licensed to practice in Ohio and South Carolina. Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment. I believe that counseling should be a conversation in a private, peaceful setting where you can explore issues that are impacting your life. In a private, peaceful, therapeutic environment I will listen to you without judgment, provide support, insight and feedback to help you address current or long standing issues that are impacting your life and possibly interfering with your emotional well-being. I have over 20 years experience working with individual and families to address mood instability, depression, anxiety, personal trauma, grief/loss, interpersonal problems, chronic illness and substance abuse. I specialize in working with adults from a holistic perspective providing individual counseling using diverse therapeutic modalities. I believe that therapy works best when there is a commitment to attend regular scheduled therapy session. I believe that individuals are resilient and have the capacity to heal from within. I believe in creating pathways for positive change. I believe “ life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learn to dance in the rain”.
If your brain never fully shuts off, you overthink everything, or you feel mentally exhausted even when life looks “fine” from the outside, you’re in the right place. I work best with thoughtful, reflective adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together.
My approach is conversational, direct, and insight-oriented. I don’t believe therapy is about me having all the answers. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you identify patterns, challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, and uncover solutions that already fit who you are.
Clients often appreciate my open-minded approach, curiosity, and ability to create a space where they can think out loud without judgment. Therapy with me is less about being told what to do and more about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and how you want to move through the world.
