Traumatic experiences are, unfortunately, far more common than many people realize—and their impact can linger in ways that affect how we think, feel, and relate to others. For 16 years I have specialized in helping individuals process and heal from various types of trauma, including interpersonal violence and sexual assault, childhood abuse, and religious trauma. I also provide support for those caring for loved ones with complex medical needs, recognizing the unique form of secondary trauma, chronic stress, and emotional exhaustion that caregiving can bring.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed therapy. I incorporate practical tools for nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and building resilience, while always honoring your pace and your story. You can expect a space where you are believed, respected, and supported.
Healing is possible. Whether you are working through past trauma, navigating the challenges of caregiving, or trying to rebuild trust and stability, there is hope. I would be honored to walk alongside you- not as someone who has all the answers, but as someone who can help you make sense of what you’re feeling and move toward relief.

Hi, I'm Tracey Babb-Morman, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's most challenging seasons. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, and emotional changes.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I believe healing begins when you feel genuinely seen and understood, not judged. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop tools that help you move toward the life you want with greater clarity and confidence.
I especially enjoy working with helping professionals, caregivers, women navigating perimenopause & midlife transitions, and individuals who have spent so much time caring for others that they've lost sight of themselves.
In life, we all move through peaks and valleys. While the high points can feel expansive and full of possibility, the valleys often feel isolating, overwhelming, or unclear. My work centers on helping clients feel less alone in those difficult moments and more empowered to navigate them with confidence, clarity, and self‑compassion.
I believe that our deepest aspirations—love, peace, fulfillment, and meaningful connection—begin with the relationship we build with ourselves. As we strengthen that inner foundation, we naturally create healthier, more authentic relationships with others. Therapy becomes a space where this transformation can unfold with intention and support.
In my practice, I walk alongside my clients with a grounded, non‑judgmental, and compassionate presence. My first priority is to listen deeply. I want to understand what matters most to you, what you’re carrying, and how your experiences have shaped the way you move through the world. I strive to ensure you feel genuinely seen and heard from the very beginning, because healing grows from a foundation of trust and authentic connection.
Together, we explore your inner landscape—your strengths, your patterns, your hopes, and the parts of you that may feel stuck or unheard. Through this collaborative process, you can begin to reconnect with your sense of self, develop healthier emotional habits, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
If you’re ready to step into a space where you don’t have to navigate the valleys alone, I’m here to walk with you.

Welcome! I’m April, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. Congratulations on taking the first step towards reaching your goals. Don’t discount the decision you’ve made to search for help, because many people never do so. I see counseling as a partnership between the therapist and the client; I have the mental health expertise while you’re the expert of you! For this reason I'll spend our earliest contacts getting to know you better.
Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision and therefore, I want to give you information so you can choose for yourself if you’d like to work with me. I would describe my counseling style as warm, but professional. I love to use strength-based approaches as much as possible, also incorporating your values into our work.
I find myself using an integrative approach, incorporating different theoretical frameworks and techniques that I will tailor to fit your needs. Two approaches I use most often are Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Person-Centered counseling uses a lot of reflection to help you process your thoughts and feelings, which is often the first step towards solving your problems. CBT helps us examine your thought patterns and whether they are helpful or harmful. If a particular thought is harmful that could trigger issues like a depressed mood, for example. We’ll work together to replace the harmful thoughts with more helpful ones. There are many other approaches to potentially integrate into our sessions, and I’d be happy to explain anything I believe may benefit you.
I have recently earned a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. You can learn more at https://postpartum.net/

I teach clients to Love themselves and communicate clearly and compassionately with others. I help clients to get to the root of their problems, learn to regulate their emotions, and find peace in the midst of worry and distress. I help clients learn to set boundaries in healthy relationships and to leave abusive relationships.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 18 years experience supporting clients in various transitions in their life. I have spent the first 13 years working specifically in grief and those who have had the death of a loved one. The skills learned as a grief counselor apply to many other areas in a persons life and we are constantly presented with change that can require a shift in perspective.
What if you didn’t have to choose which version of yourself gets to be heard? The confident you. The worried you. The one who wants change. The one who wants things to stay familiar. They can all be there at the same time. And instead of trying to silence one over the other, therapy can help you understand what each one is bringing to the table.
Whoever thought you could feel so alone in a world so big? While we all face similar problems, the impact can be so different.

My name is Angela Wilburn, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I have been a clinician for approximately 10 years; I chose this profession so I can help people navigate their way through those difficult periods in their life when they believe no one sees them or no one cares. I want my clients to know they have a voice
I’m a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, chronic stress, and health-related concerns. My approach is warm, compassionate, and integrative. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted—not judged or placed into a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.
I draw from psychodynamic, relational, cognitive, solution-focused, and coaching approaches, as well as my background in health coaching and nervous-system regulation. Rather than relying on one particular method, I tailor our work to you: your personality, your history, your goals, and what you need at this point in your life.
I’m especially interested in helping people understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck while also developing practical tools for creating meaningful change. My goal is not simply to help you “fix” a problem, but to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, feel more emotionally grounded, and create a life and relationships that feel more aligned with who you are.
For clients working with me in person, I may also incorporate neurofeedback or BAUD (Bio-Acoustical Utilization Device) therapy when appropriate. These brain-based approaches can complement traditional talk therapy and may be helpful for nervous-system regulation, anxiety, and reducing the emotional intensity associated with difficult or traumatic memories. I see these tools as another way to support the therapeutic process—not a replacement for the relationship and deeper work that happens in therapy.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep respect for the complexity of a client’s histories, identities, nervous system and family dynamics. I work from a psychodynamic and trauma-informed lens, integrating skills and ideas associated with various evidence-based practices such as CBT, acceptance-based, and emotion-focused work to help you process what’s happened to you while also building skills for the present. I specialize in working with adults including LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent clients. I pay close attention to creating space that feels actively affirming – not just “tolerant”. You’ll find that I’m transparent about the therapy process, that I name what I see with care, and that I hold your pain and resilience in mind at the same time.

Needless to say, I am a major animal lover. I am also a proud Harry Potter adult. I love reading, last year I read 122 books, and my favorite genres are mystery/suspense and fantasy. I also love running, I’ve run five half marathons and would love to run a full marathon one day. My favorite thing in the world is taking my puppies, Nola and Frank, on puppy runs with me (she’s 9, he's 1). If I’m not working, reading, running, or playing with dogs, you will find me fully invested in true crime.
