My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have used and found great success with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is a form of therapy focused on helping you become aware of how you relate to your thoughts and emotions. Rather than trying to alter or suppress how you feel, ACT encourages you to acknowledge and accept your experiences. Through this process, you'll explore your core values and make changes in your actions to align more closely with what truly matters to you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-researched and tested, goal-oriented, structured form of psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. By focusing on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions, CBT can help you challenge unhelpful beliefs and develop healthier coping strategies. This evidence-based approach is effective for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress, and promotes lasting improvements in emotional well-being.

Christian Counseling

Christian Counseling integrates psychological principles with biblical teachings to address emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. This approach encourages you to explore your faith as a source of strength and guidance, while developing practical coping strategies rooted in Christian values. It aims to foster healing, personal growth, and a deeper connection to God within the therapeutic process.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness Based Therapy is an approach that encourages you to focus on the present moment with openness, curiosity, and acceptance. By cultivating mindful awareness, you can better recognize and manage your thoughts, feelings, and reactions, ultimately reducing stress and enhancing emotional well-being. This therapy often incorporates meditation, breathing exercises, and gentle guidance to help you develop greater self-compassion and resilience in everyday life.
