I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, and the pressure of being high-functioning while feeling overwhelmed internally. Many of my clients are capable, thoughtful people who hold themselves to very high standards but find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, perfectionism, or burnout. In therapy, I help clients better understand how their minds work, develop practical tools for managing stress and focus, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and able to move forward in ways that align with their values.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. We will talk about what you have been experiencing, the challenges you would like support with, and what you hope might feel different in your life. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there is no pressure to have everything figured out. I may ask questions about different areas of your life, such as your current stressors, history, and what has or has not been helpful for you in the past. This helps me gain a clearer picture of your experiences so we can begin identifying meaningful goals for therapy. By the end of the session, we will start discussing what working together might look like and what approaches may be most helpful for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of the direction we can take together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to help clients make sense of what feels confusing or overwhelming in their inner world. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable but feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, perfectionism, or difficulty focusing. I enjoy helping clients better understand how their minds work so that their experiences start to feel more manageable and less frustrating. I also focus on balancing insight with practical tools. While understanding patterns and experiences is important, therapy with me is also about learning skills and strategies you can apply in your everyday life. I integrate approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build flexibility, manage difficult thoughts and emotions, and take meaningful steps toward what matters most to them. Clients often appreciate that I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also being collaborative and engaged in the process. My goal is to help you feel both understood and empowered—gaining clarity, practical skills, and greater confidence in navigating the challenges you face.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be someone who appears capable and put-together on the outside, but internally you feel overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or constantly questioning whether you’re doing enough. Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, or a mind that rarely slows down. You might find yourself overthinking decisions, procrastinating even when something matters to you, or feeling exhausted from holding yourself to very high standards. My clients are often thoughtful, self-aware individuals who want things to feel different. You may want better tools to manage anxiety, improve focus, stop getting stuck in cycles of self-criticism, or feel more confident in your decisions. You may also be looking for ways to understand how your mind works and build systems and strategies that actually fit your life. If you’re ready to approach things with curiosity, practice new skills, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned with what matters to you, we may be a good fit to work together.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult feelings, we work on learning how to make space for them while still moving toward what matters most. ACT focuses on building psychological flexibility so you can live in alignment with your values, even when life feels challenging.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In our work together, we identify patterns of thinking that may be contributing to distress and learn practical strategies to shift those patterns. CBT helps clients develop more balanced ways of thinking, build coping skills, and create meaningful changes in daily life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) focuses on building practical skills to manage intense emotions, navigate relationships, and cope with distress more effectively. In our work together, we may use DBT strategies such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills help clients respond to difficult situations with greater awareness and balance, rather than feeling overwhelmed or reactive.
