I work full-time as a school counselor for an elementary school. Currently, I see clients virtually through my private practice, Brown Eye Therapist and Consulting, PLLC.
I am someone who spent many years in the business world before finding recovery and figuring out counseling is what I'm supposed to be doing. I believe I don't have the answers for you, you do! I believe it's my job to help you get to the answers. I try real hard not to tell people what to do but will share what my experience has been. I use humor when I can as none of us are getting out here alive so we might as well laugh as to cry.
Therapy is the most effective when you feel genuinely connected to the person walking along side you. I take pride in meeting clients where they are, no matter the chapter of life they’re in. I strive to offer both stability and flexibility, recognizing that the world can feel overwhelming at times, but together, we can make it feel more manageable.

Well hello! My name is Lori.
Are you feeling the need to live your life differently? Are the things you've tried in the past no longer beneficial or adequate for this stage in your life?
I encourage my clients to do the things that they've never done in order to experience the life they've always wanted. I help them identify the source of what has limited them and caused them emotional pain, whether it be from anxiety or depression stemming from childhood trauma, broken relationships, toxic work environment, sexuality, aging, or religious trauma to name a few.
I enjoy working alongside my clients and being a part of their "aha!!" moments on their life's journey. I utilize my belief in the interconnectedness of humanity with nature to assist my clients in understanding life, growth, change, grace and what constitutes true success.
My name is Stephanie, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker living in North Carolina. I have been practicing professionally since 2018, and have worked with diverse populations of children, adults, families and couples, in settings that include private practice, school-based, corporate, agency and crisis work. I have extensive experience working with military-involved families, justice-involved individuals and their families, and those who are or have been deeply involved in faith communities. I take a systems-minded approach that looks at all of the layers surrounding an individual and seeks to enhance both nurturing of self and a healthy attachment to layers of community care. My favorite part of being a clinician is having the privilege of witness folks learn and develop their own strengths and truths, and become holistically healthier, more empowered, and more in control of their own lives.

Welcome! I’m April, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. Congratulations on taking the first step towards reaching your goals. Don’t discount the decision you’ve made to search for help, because many people never do so. I see counseling as a partnership between the therapist and the client; I have the mental health expertise while you’re the expert of you! For this reason I'll spend our earliest contacts getting to know you better.
Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision and therefore, I want to give you information so you can choose for yourself if you’d like to work with me. I would describe my counseling style as warm, but professional. I love to use strength-based approaches as much as possible, also incorporating your values into our work.
I find myself using an integrative approach, incorporating different theoretical frameworks and techniques that I will tailor to fit your needs. Two approaches I use most often are Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Person-Centered counseling uses a lot of reflection to help you process your thoughts and feelings, which is often the first step towards solving your problems. CBT helps us examine your thought patterns and whether they are helpful or harmful. If a particular thought is harmful that could trigger issues like a depressed mood, for example. We’ll work together to replace the harmful thoughts with more helpful ones. There are many other approaches to potentially integrate into our sessions, and I’d be happy to explain anything I believe may benefit you.
I have recently earned a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. You can learn more at https://postpartum.net/

My practice over the past 30 years as an LCMHC has allowed me to help people of diverse backgrounds overcome a variety of life's challenges. I help people by meeting with them, learning about their problems and discovering ways for them to feel more at ease. The most common issues that I help people with involve their moods (for example sadness, worrying, anger or stress) and with their relationships.
All types of people come to see me; people just like you who have hit a bump in the road and want to help themselves feel better again. I've focused on adults and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, controlling anger, family conflict, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. If you're looking for someone to help, I'd welcome your call!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.
Hello, I'm Natasha Louder a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. I also have an Master of Business Administration in Human Resources along with multiple certifications in both areas. I have been in practice both in corporate America and counseling a combination of over 20 years.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
Max Ehrmann’s poem, Desiderata reads “you are a child of the universe and have a right to be here. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul”. The poem’s sentiment resonates with my counseling philosophy and approach. If you have been struggling with a new medical diagnosis, grieving the loss of a loved one or are overwhelmed in your role as a caretaker consider reaching out. I would be honored to assist you on your healing journey.
With over 20 years of experience as a therapist and as a clinical social worker in the medical field, I can help you embrace those aspects of yourself that calls for your attention and compassion. Providing a space where you can express whatever is in your heart that needs to be acknowledged, learned from and ultimately let go. Cultivating awareness as the foundation for healing, our sessions together will honor your innate wisdom, helping to create a path towards what you are most desiring.
