As a licensed therapist in both North and South Carolina, I specialize in perinatal mental health, helping new and expectant mothers navigate the profound identity shifts that come with motherhood. My ideal client is a mom who’s balancing her sense of self with the joys and challenges of this new chapter. I bring a warm, collaborative approach, drawing from both my professional training and my own experience as a mom. I believe in creating a safe space where you can explore, grow, and redefine yourself as you step into this new role.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and we’ll discuss what brings you in and what you hope to get out of therapy. We’ll take things at your pace, and I’ll explain how we’ll work together, so you feel safe and supported every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths is creating a calm, safe space where you can be yourself. I bring a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, and I blend evidence-based techniques with my own personal experience as a mom. That balance helps us work together in a way that feels real, practical, and supportive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is a new or expecting mom who’s adjusting to the big changes in her life, whether it’s after having a baby, returning to work, or redefining her identity as a parent. She’s often feeling a mix of excitement and overwhelm, and she wants a therapy space that’s practical, gentle, and empowering. Her goals are to find balance, reconnect with herself, and build confidence as she steps into this new chapter.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a method called cognitive behavioral therapy, which is really just a way of helping you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Together, we’ll look at any patterns that might be holding you back, and I’ll help you find new ways to respond, so you can feel more in control and confident as you make changes.
