In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I help clients using CBT and the Person-Centered approach. I believe behaviors stem from thoughts and emotions, which helps us discover the root of most problems. Our first session will focus on your narrative and your primary concerns that brought you to therapy. This gives me the opportunity to get to know each individual on a personal level without judgment.

I am deeply passionate about being a therapist and showing up fully for the needs of those I serve. I value understanding and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. If at any point you feel that I may not be the best fit for you, I fully support finding a therapist who better meets your needs. I work with teens, adults, and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress from life transitions. I'm here to assist you with emotional regulation, coping skills, and developing personal goals. You are not alone.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a widely used treatment modality within therapy. I tend to find it helpful with reframing negative cognitions and unhelpful beliefs into more positive and beneficial ones.
Narrative
A client's backstory is always important as it is the foundation of how one thinks, feels, and behaves today. Unpacking the past may be challenging, but it is necessary when attempting to understand the present and preparing for a better future.
Attachment-based
Attachment is formed once a child is brought into the world. I utilize attachment styles to gain clarity on what emotions are motivating the development of relationships.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Some situations are simply present based which requires right now solutions. I utilize Solution Focused therapy for short term clients looking to develop skills to improve their functioning to include effective coping skills, communication skills, and emotional regulation.
Faith based therapy
I offer faith integrated therapy for clients who find spirituality meaningful in their lives. However, therapy with me is always guided by your values and beliefs.
