As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, stress, and life transitions with compassionate, evidence-based care. I provide a safe, supportive space where clients can heal, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is personalized to each individual’s needs, focusing on emotional wellness, healthier coping skills, and personal growth. In addition to therapy, I supervise and mentor counselors to promote high-quality, ethical, and compassionate mental health care.
Your first session will provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space to discuss your concerns, experiences, and goals for therapy. Together, we will explore the challenges you’re facing, identify strengths, and develop a personalized treatment approach tailored to your needs. I use compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered from the very beginning. My goal is to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship that supports healing, personal growth, and lasting emotional well-being.
What sets my approach apart is my commitment to treating the whole person with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. I specialize in helping individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. I work collaboratively with each person to build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is not only to help clients manage symptoms, but to support healing, personal growth, and a greater sense of balance and well-being.
I am best positioned to support individuals facing the dual challenges of mental health concerns and substance use. My work is especially suited for clients navigating co-occurring disorders—those coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, or other emotional struggles alongside addiction or misuse. I provide integrated, specialized care that addresses the full scope of their experiences, helping clients work toward meaningful recovery, greater emotional balance, and an improved quality of life.

As a licensed therapist, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it effectively addresses the way our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. CBT helps us identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, which can lead to improved emotional well-being and more constructive behaviors. By setting specific goals and using practical techniques, we can work together to make meaningful changes and develop skills to manage challenges more effectively. This structured approach allows us to focus on your unique needs and track progress toward achieving your goals.
I use Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) with children ages 3–18 in a developmentally appropriate, structured, and trauma-informed way. For young children, I rely on play, caregiver coaching, and simple emotion regulation skills. For older children and teens, I use the PRACTICE model: psychoeducation, relaxation, affect regulation, cognitive coping, trauma narrative processing, in-vivo exposure when needed, conjoint sessions, and safety planning. I prioritize stabilization before trauma processing, involve caregivers throughout treatment, and tailor interventions to the child’s developmental level and readiness. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and focused on building coping skills, processing trauma safely, and improving emotional regulation and resilience.
I use an eclectic approach in therapy by integrating evidence-based interventions from multiple modalities based on each client’s presenting needs, developmental level, and treatment goals. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed framework, and I draw from CBT for cognitive restructuring and skill-building, TF-CBT for trauma processing, DBT skills for emotion regulation, and play-based or attachment-focused interventions for younger children. I begin with a comprehensive assessment and case formulation, then select interventions that best address the client’s symptoms and strengths. I remain intentional and structured in how techniques are combined, ensuring treatment is cohesive rather than random, and always aligned with clinical goals and client progress.

I enjoy not having to overly explain things because it's hard sometimes to communicate my feelings and thoughts effectively but Nathaline gets me! It's like I'm talking to a mentor/friend and I am able to share without hesitation. I also appreciate that I am empowered to work towards the person I strive to be!

I do not like therapy but now that I have her I look forward to talking to her. She keeps my information private. She listens and helps me understand my issues. I'm so glad there military doctors sent me to her.
