Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I am passionate about working with people and helping them experience the impact counseling can have on their lives. Our first session will be a time to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. Together, we will identify your goals, discuss your expectations, and create a personalized plan that supports growth, healing, and positive change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a nonjudgmental and empathetic approach to everything I do, recognizing that everyone makes mistakes and deserves understanding. I’m a strong listener, think outside the box, and enjoy helping others. I communicate honestly and make an effort to see situations from every perspective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Positive outcomes are most common when clients are ready to engage in the work of change and have supportive relationships around them. Taking the step to begin therapy requires courage, and I honor that choice. I look forward to walking alongside you in this process.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling includes pre-marrital counseling. Couples counseling involves open conversations between partners to identify underlying issues causing relationship problems, helping them understand each other's perspectives, and teaching them new communication and problem-solving skills to improve their relationship dynamics, all while remaining neutral and not taking sides; the goal is to empower the couple to work through conflicts together and build a stronger bond.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused therapy (SFT) works by focusing on a client's strengths and desired future state, rather than dwelling on the details of their problem, encouraging them to identify and build upon existing positive behaviors and exceptions to the problem to find solutions and achieve goals, essentially believing that clients have the inherent ability to solve their own issues with guidance from the therapist; it emphasizes setting clear, achievable goals and creating practical strategies to reach them.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy helps people process their grief and develop coping strategies. It can be a safe space to express emotions and talk about a loved one who has died.
