New to Grow
Welcome! You are at the right place at the right time! My name is Alexis Lett, currently located in Fayetteville, NC. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I have a fresh and innovative and holistic approach to mental health. I have worked in the public service and community mental health field collectively for 10 years working with ages 16-90 years old. I have worked with individuals who experienced SPMI (severe persistent mental illness), anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and more. I believe it is always best to make sure that you find the right Therapist for you. In order to carefully assess this, I will offer a 15 minute consultation. If I am a good fit for you, you can expect a warm and safe space, consistency, empowerment and partnership in your journey to healing. You don't have to navigate this life alone. Having a strong community without judgment will make a great difference in your life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will follow a 15 minute consultation so by now we have made a decision to work together. We will use this session to collect background information, discuss history and the presenting reason for you seeking therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What makes me unique is my approach and compassion for people no matter their walk of life. While I love to push people to become their best, most healthy self, I respect and honor the place that people are in until they are ready! I am sure about my assignment here on earth and life to actually walk it out with each encounter.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who is committed to self-discovery, healing and growth. Some one honest and accountable to this beautiful journey.
Christian Counseling
I implement faith practices, prayer and or scripture based on clients request and preference.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thoughts patterns that impact emotions and behaviors.
Motivational Interviewing
I use MI that helps clients explore ambivalence and strengthen their motivation for change. This is especially helpful for clients navigating life transitions, behavioral, changes, relationship patterns or substance use concerns.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy to emphasize strengths, resilience, and practical steps forward.
