I help clients struggling with conflict, trauma, and their mental health achieve empowerment, growth and momentum in their lives and goals. Using my education, training and experience as a licensed psychologist and certified life coach, I approach my clients putting a relationship centered intuitive technique and implement a parallel process of healing from the past and taking action in the present.
My experience as a psychologist includes over 5000 clinical hours over 5 years, working in 4 schools, a college campus and many clinics as well as my private practice. This experience included 500+ of hours of direct supervision from Doctoral level psychologists, which has helped me refine my craft so I can be the best clinician to support you as I can.
As a married man and proud father of two, I tap into my life experience and my personal therapeutic journey to offer my clients the parts of my own map of healing and action that is relevant to them. My personal therapy has made me understand what it is like to sit on the coach and I integrate into my therapy what I liked and weed out what I did not find helpful (i.e. How does that make you feel?). It has also helped me build self awareness and achieve a degree of healing that helps me be able to understand what it means to truly suffer as well as what healing actually looks like. I am an Orthodox Jew and proud man of faith and when my clients have a value system that is aligned with my value system, I integrate religious and spiritual perspectives and practices into the therapeutic space. If they are not aligned, I do not. I enjoy chess, working out, and look forward to buy one get one days at Carvel.

I have been a Clinical Psychologist for over 20 years, and feel privileged to have worked in settings such as the VA Hospital, the College Counseling Center at Columbia University, as well as running a private practice that has allowed me to work with some amazing clients in the fields of finance, publishing, entertainment, technology, and medicine. Each person was doing their best to navigate life, relationships, and careers. They were figuring it out on the way, yet seeking help to gain a better understanding of themselves. My clients have taught me a lot about the nuances and challenges their careers and chosen professions have presented, and this, in turn, has helped me understand how to help others who cross my threshold. In my training years, I also worked in tough settings such as the state mental health system and incarcerated settings. This varied and meaningful journey made me very diverse in my clinical skills and nimble in my work with the people I've had the privilege of sitting across from in the therapy room. In a time when many therapists specialize in specific areas, I've chosen to cultivate my natural curiosity and develop a clinical range that allows me to work with a varied and interesting set of people. I always strive to provide an authentic connection with my clients and bring my passion for this work to each client. My favorite moment in therapy is seeing the delight on my clients' faces when all the work we've been doing results in the clarity they've been looking for.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably carrying something heavy — and you may have been carrying it longer than you should have had to. I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in both New York and New Jersey, and I work with adults and couples who are navigating some of life’s most emotionally demanding seasons: parenting stress, relationship strain, depression, ADHD, and the kind of high-functioning exhaustion that doesn’t always look like struggle from the outside but absolutely feels like it.
My approach is relational at its core. I believe that healing rarely happens in isolation — it happens in connection. Before any technique or homework assignment, I prioritize building a therapeutic relationship where you actually feel safe enough to be honest. That foundation isn’t just good therapy etiquette; it’s what makes everything else possible.
From there, I draw on a range of evidence-based frameworks — attachment theory, CBT, DBT, and person-centered approaches — tailoring the work to what you specifically need rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. Some clients need tools and structure. Others need space to process and be witnessed. Most need both, at different moments.
I’ve worked with many people who came to therapy after putting it off for a long time — sometimes years. What kept them away was often fear: fear of judgment, fear of being misunderstood, or simply not knowing what therapy was supposed to feel like. I take that seriously. My goal from the very first session is to help you feel less alone in what you’re facing, and more capable of moving through it.
You don’t have to have it figured out before you reach out. That’s what we’re here to do together.
