My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients recognize automatic negative thoughts and cognitive distortions that contribute to their distress. I assist patient's with increasing engagement in positive activities to improve mood and reduce avoidance behaviors. I help equip clients with strategies to effectively handle life challenges and stressors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use this to enhance a person's ability to be present in the moment, recognize and accept thoughts and feelings without judgment. I help people learn to tolerate and survive crises without resorting to harmful behaviors. I help clients generalize skills to various contexts and situations, ensuring they can maintain progress after therapy ends.
