I am a therapist with 12 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings, supporting individuals through anxiety, mood disorders, and other life challenges. My personal experience with anxiety and therapy gives me a deeper understanding of the courage it takes to seek support and make meaningful changes. I am committed to providing compassionate, collaborative care grounded in authenticity, respect, and a strong dedication to social justice and inclusive mental health treatment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, you can expect a collaborative, conversational, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. I want to learn more about you, the challenges you are currently facing, and what has brought you to therapy. We will also discuss your goals, what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process, and how I can best support you. I may share some initial thoughts about approaches or strategies that could be helpful, while making sure the process feels comfortable, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my genuine, down-to-earth, and flexible approach to working with clients. I strive to create a space that feels conversational, supportive, and authentic rather than overly clinical or rigid. I deeply care about the challenges my clients are facing and approach their concerns with empathy, compassion, and investment in their growth and well-being. I tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, helping clients feel understood, comfortable, and empowered as we work together toward meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals experiencing anxiety and mood disorders who are seeking practical tools and supportive guidance to better understand, manage, and live with their symptoms. I work well with clients who are motivated to build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and develop greater self-awareness. My approach supports individuals who want to reduce the impact of anxiety, depression, stress, and related challenges while working toward increased resilience, balance, and overall well-being.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have experience using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility and build healthier relationships with difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. In my practice, I integrate ACT techniques such as mindfulness, values clarification, cognitive defusion, and committed action to support clients in reducing avoidance patterns and making meaningful behavioral changes. I use ACT in a collaborative, client-centered way, helping individuals identify what matters most to them while developing practical skills to navigate anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges with greater resilience and self-compassion.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses that contribute to psychological distress. In my practice, I use CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, problem-solving, and skill-building to help clients develop healthier coping strategies and improve daily functioning. I tailor CBT interventions to each client’s individual needs, supporting them in building insight, increasing self-awareness, and creating practical, measurable changes related to anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and other mental health concerns
