New to Grow
Hi, I’m Linda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping adults and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals, helping clients build healthier coping strategies and create meaningful change in their lives.
During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, and goals so I can better understand your experiences and how to best support you. while also giving you space to share at your own comfort level. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable beginning the therapy process.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I work to create a space where clients feel genuinely supported while also helping them build coping strategies and self-awareness that extend beyond the therapy session. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client’s individual experiences, strengths, and goals. Clients often appreciate my warm, down-to-earth style and the balance of emotional support with actionable tools for growth and healing.
I work best with adults and young professionals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and work toward meaningful personal growth. My style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT can be especially helpful for anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and develop healthier ways of responding to challenges in daily life.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize their resilience, personal strengths, and existing abilities. I believe therapy should not only focus on challenges but also highlight the tools and resources clients already possess to support growth and healing.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, meaning I strive to provide an empathetic, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and understood. I believe each client is the expert of their own experience, and I work alongside them to help clarify goals and foster personal growth.
Psychodynamic
I incorporate psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may impact their current emotions and behaviors. This approach can support greater self-awareness, insight, and emotional growth. I use psychodynamic principles alongside practical coping strategies to help clients create meaningful and lasting change.
Trauma Informed Care
I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for clients to process difficult experiences. I work with clients to build emotional regulation skills, strengthen coping strategies, and move at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering for them.
