I have worked with diverse populations of all ages since then and came to find that I enjoy working with people who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds, people of color, women, Autists, and persons living with Anxiety and Trauma of all kinds. Trauma comes in many forms and the abuser can be a member of your family, a stranger and even your society.

I want to dismantle the stigma that many communities carry about seeking help for mental challenges and show people that everyone can benefit from a better relationship with themselves.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience helping individuals heal relationships with themselves, others, and the world around them. As a long-term provider of mental health, I feel that therapy is very much like coaching. Together we can affect change using the tenets of CBT. My mantra is -- "How can I help?" And if it sounds like a "Zen" like approach to counseling- maybe it is. Feel free to contact me with questions. I also work with athletes on any level to achieve peak performance.

You don’t have to be brave in here. Just honest. We’re not chasing better—we’re chasing truer.
Are you high-functioning on the outside but feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or disconnected on the inside? I work with adults at a crossroads, navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, grief and loss, caregiving strain, and long-standing patterns that no longer fit—people who have been “holding it together” for a long time. (That includes the patterns that show up in family and close connections—without turning your life into a reality show.)
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I use an insight-oriented (psychodynamic) approach to help you understand the roots beneath the pattern—family-of-origin dynamics, protective roles, and the stories you’ve had to live by. I also use psychoeducation to make therapy practical: clear language for what you’re experiencing, tools for boundaries, and ways to respond differently in real life.
Therapy here isn’t about performing progress. It’s about telling the truth safely and building steadier ground from there.
